Hi,
I'm Faye LaRue.
Welcome to my meditation space.
Thank you for being here and letting me guide you on a journey towards deep relaxation,
Reducing anxiety,
Releasing grief from the lung tissue,
And deep effortless sleep.
This meditation can be done lying down or sitting up,
And while you take a few breaths to orient yourself in the way that you'd like to take it,
Begin the opening and softening process of your body.
Release the gut and the belly.
Let the breath travel down there.
Drop weight out of your fingertips like your arms were actually hanging off your body as they're meant to.
Soften the bottoms of your feet.
To be receptive,
Release your jaw,
Your tongue,
Your esophagus.
Soften the inside of your head.
Soften down the spinal column.
Soften into the bones of your pelvis.
Release the leg bones,
All the tissue around them,
The lower legs.
Again,
The feet.
As if you're filling it up and it were empty like a balloon.
And exhale,
Let that balloon deflate.
Let your weight come down.
Let yourself be in gravity.
Another deep breath in like you're inflating yourself,
The whole being.
And exhale,
Let it out.
One more time.
We're gonna start a breath of four.
Four count suspend,
And a four count exhale,
And a four count holding the air out.
Suspending the air out.
We'll do seven rounds of this.
Let's begin.
Inhale.
Suspend.
Exhale.
Two.
Three.
Suspend.
Hold it out.
Suspend.
Two.
Exhale.
Two.
Three.
Suspend out.
Two.
Three.
Inhale.
Two.
Suspend.
Two.
Exhale.
Two.
Suspend.
Inhale.
Two.
Suspend.
Two.
Exhale.
Two.
Three.
Suspend.
Two.
Inhale.
Suspend.
Exhale.

Suspend.
Hold it out.
Three.
Inhale.
Suspend.
Two.
Exhale.
Two.
Three.
Two.
Last one.
Inhale.
Two.
Suspend.
Two.
Exhale.
Let your breath come back to a normal,
Soft,
Unregulated in and out.
Now as you're breathing here,
To your rib bones,
Notice their movement.
Follow,
Letting them ebb and release.
Soften the spaces between the bones as you open and keep,
And seeing if you can soften even more so,
So they effortlessly open a little further.
Notice the collar bones resting on top.
Can you let them go?
Can you feel their natural movement?
Watch the rise of the breath and the bones fall over top of the breath.
And as you exhale,
The bones fall down into gravity,
Releasing,
Letting go.
And as you exhale,
Notice the rib cage opening a little and the flower opening a little bit,
Rippled out and caused the rib bones to open up.
And then as you exhale and the flower softens,
So do the ribs.
Inhale from the inside out,
Letting the breath move and ripple through the tissues,
Out to the bones,
Even out of the body.
Open.
Exhale.
Soften.
Release.
Let go.
Now in your mind's eye,
We're going to move from a flower to a bird,
Whatever bird comes to mind that is inside of you.
And as you breathe in,
See its wings opening.
But it's as if its wings opening are what is causing you to inhale.
The expansion is not even you.
And exhale,
See the birds wings folding down softly,
Softly,
Softly,
Floating down,
Feathers floating down.
And then again on the inhale,
It's as if this life inside of you is opening you,
Breathing you open,
Breathing you open.
Exhale.
Let the ribs just get heavy.
And then inhale,
Feel that even wider spread of the wingspan.
But it is the width of the wingspan that is causing you to breathe and open.
It isn't you.
It's the life inside of you.
Keep feeling the expansion,
The openness.
And keep losing yourself to what's inside of you.
Beautiful.
With the wings spread wide open,
Allowing your breath to continue,
Come to the very heartbeat of this bird in you.
Feel its love,
Its existence,
Its aliveness.
And when you're ready,
And if it feels right,
Take off.
Feel the freedom.
Feel the openness.
Feel the deep relaxation.
And let yourself float.
Let yourself float.
Let yourself go.
Keep breathing.
Keep breathing as if those wings were carrying you.
Let yourself go.
Let yourself go.
Let it all go.
Thank you so much for joining me on this journey.
If you're going to make your way back,
Do so very slowly,
Coming back into your body,
Wiggling your toes,
And if you're going to trip,
Talk to sleep.
Have a wonderful day.
See you next time.
