Hi,
I'm Fimo and welcome to this meditative practice designed to connect you to the joy that's within yourself.
Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable space where you can relax without any distractions.
I invite you to sit or to lie down in a position that is relaxing,
That feels natural to you.
A position that allows you to be very present,
Very alert,
But yet very relaxed.
Now take a deep breath in and imagine that you're breathing in ease and relaxation.
And when you exhale,
I'd like you to imagine that you're letting go of any tension or stress your body may be holding on to.
So breathing in,
You're inhaling ease and relaxation.
And breathing out,
You're exhaling tension and stress.
Deep breath in,
Slow and long breath out.
Be sure to relax your facial muscles and make sure that your shoulders are far away from your ears.
You will not hear my voice for the next minute or so as you focus all your attention on the gentle rise and fall of your breath.
If you're not already doing so,
Feel free to allow your body to breathe however it wants to,
But continue to focus on each in-breath and out-breath.
Continue to witness this life force that's moving in and out of you.
I'd like you to imagine a warm,
Golden light enveloping you.
This light represents joy,
Pure and vibrant.
Visualize it surrounding your entire being,
From the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
Imagine a warm,
Golden light enveloping you.
Allow this golden light of joy to seep into every cell of your body,
Filling you with a sense of peace and contentment.
Feel the lightness and happiness flowing through you,
Uplifting your spirits.
Can you bring to mind a moment of pure joy from your life?
It could be a memory,
An experience,
Or a person who brings you tremendous happiness.
Allow yourself to be fully immersed in that moment.
You live in the sights,
The sounds,
And emotions associated with it.
Notice how your body responds to this memory,
And feel the joy expanding within you.
Can you take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate the blessings in your life that bring you joy?
It could be the simple pleasures,
Like the warmth of the sun,
The laughter of someone that we love,
Or the beauty of nature.
Can you recognize that joy can be found in both the big and small?
Can you recognize that joy is always present if we choose to notice it?
Joy is always present if we choose to access it,
If we choose to tap into it.
As you continue to breathe,
Imagine yourself radiating this joy out into the world.
See the golden light expanding beyond your body,
Reaching out to touch the lives of others.
Visualize its spread in love,
Happiness,
And positivity to those around you,
Creating a ripple effect of joy that extends far and wide.
Stay right here with this feeling of joy for a few moments,
Bask in its warm glow,
Embrace it fully,
Knowing that you deserve to experience and to cultivate joy in your life.
When you're ready,
Bring awareness back to the space you're in.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Allowing your body to awaken.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
You can slowly open your eyes.
I invite you to carry this sense of joy with you as you go about your day,
Allowing it to guide your thoughts,
Your actions,
And interactions with others.
Remember that joy is not just a fleeting emotion,
But a state of being that you can cultivate and nurture within yourself.
I'd like to end this practice by sharing a positive affirmation that you can repeat with your full voice or quietly to yourself.
