We've been told over and over again by sages and mystics that one must go inward to experience peace. Yet, how many of us find ourselves looking for peace outside of ourselves? In this meditative experience, you'll be given cues and more importantly the space to settle into the well of peace that's within you.

Now that your eyes are closed and you've settled on a position that you can hold for the next little while,

Focus your attention on your breathing.

Notice what happens every time you breathe in and every time you breathe out.

Allow your body to breathe however it wants to and just observe it.

Get really curious about your breath and how it moves through you.

When you breathe in,

You're aware that you're breathing in and when you breathe out,

You're aware that you're breathing out.

Check on your posture and make sure that your face is relaxed.

Your shoulders are far away from your ears,

Your back is straight and your hands are resting on your legs.

Now for the posture of your mind,

Keep an attitude of openness and acceptance.

Meditation can be a peaceful and blissful experience.

It can also be the total opposite and everything in between.

It can also be a powerful and resonant experience.

This can be a residence on your knees as your bodyPractices basis as you move your body to the opposite side and The longer you sit here,

You will go beyond the pleasant and unpleasant.

You will go beyond judgments and labels and experience the reality of this moment.

You will go beyond the pleasant and unpleasant.

You will go beyond the pleasant and unpleasant.

You will go beyond the pleasant and unpleasant.

Reality is beyond thought.

Reality is inconceivable to the mind,

Because the mind tends to be busy thinking thoughts,

But when the thoughts slow down or stop,

We discover that there is only the present moment,

The here and now.

I invite you to get with,

To groove with the here and now.

Be open to what is here for you.

Tune in to what you are feeling and sensing.

Meditation is about creating space.

It's about accepting the reality of this moment and experiencing the truth about yourself and your environment.

Thoughts may arise,

Just be aware of them.

You can be aware of these thoughts,

But not get caught up in them.

These thoughts are not who you are,

So keep bringing your attention back to your breath and stay in your body.

Relax.

We live in a noisy world.

And our mind can be a very noisy place.

But there is a place of calm.

A dimension of stillness that's within us.

Continue to be with your breath.

When you own your breath,

Nobody can steal your peace.

Animal bay I'd like you to repeat the following affirmation with your full voice or quietly to yourself.

I am at peace with who I am.

I am at peace with who I am.

The music will stop shortly but I invite you to remain in this space for as long as you want.

Thank you for sitting with me.

See you next time.

The music will stop shortly but I invite you to remain in this space for as long as you want.

Simple and powerful. I love a guided meditation that is exactly that - a little guidance at moments when our minds may need a redirection. Excellent (and what a great a voice you have)!
