Welcome to this guided meditation to help you drift off into a deep,

Restful slumber.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Lying on your back,

Arms resting naturally at your sides.

Let your body be fully supported by the surface beneath you.

Close your eyes,

Take a long,

Slow breath in,

And exhale completely.

Allow the weight of your body to sink deeper,

Letting go of the day's efforts and thoughts.

Each breath draws in calm,

Each exhale releases tension.

Now bring your awareness gently to your heart,

Feel its steady beat,

A quiet rhythm that has carried you through the day.

Feel gratitude for the gift of life itself,

For the simple miracle of being here,

In this body,

In this moment.

As you breathe,

Think quietly of one thing you are grateful for today.

Perhaps it was a kind word,

A smile,

A comforting moment,

Or simply the fact that you woke up to another day.

Let that blessing fill your chest with warmth,

Spreading outward through your shoulders,

Arms down through your torso,

Legs and feet,

Filling your entire body with calm and joy.

Now notice another blessing,

The gentle rhythm of your breath,

The softness of the bed or floor supporting you,

The quiet sounds of the evening around you.

Feel the blessing as a gentle light in your body,

Blowing softly,

Radiating peace.

Think of one more blessing,

Perhaps a memory,

A loved one,

A quiet moment,

Or the simple gift of time to rest tonight.

Imagine this blessing settling in,

A soft and comforting presence.

Feel it filling every corner of your mind,

Quieting any lingering worry.

As you continue to breathe,

Notice that your body carries countless blessings,

Some small,

Some grand.

Each one is a reminder that life,

In all its quiet and vibrant forms,

Is full of gifts.

Let the recognition of these blessings wash over you,

Calming your mind,
