
Cozy Autumn Guided Sound Bath
At times, our thoughts can be intrusive and overstimulating, filling our days with scenarios and worries that have no basis to them. They can take us out of our moments of presence and fill our time with circular thoughts, running our every moment. We offer you a practice to help you process these thoughts in a healthy way and guide you to let them go. This is your opportunity to embrace the present moment with us as we guide you on a journey to inner silence.

Welcome to our cozy autumn sound bath.
This experience was designed to bring you into a deep space of relaxation and to help you let your thoughts go.
Autumn is a time of great change,
As the seasons change,
The plants change,
The animals change,
And we too change.
As we begin,
I want you to find your breath.
Feel your breathing in,
Feel your breath go out.
Feel your shoulders beginning to relax,
Your eyebrows,
Your jaw beginning to relax,
Your legs,
Your back,
And your arms beginning to relax.
Keeping your center with your breath.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Observing how the air feels as it comes in through your nose.
Noticing the changes in your body as your breath comes back out.
Finding your peace and finding your center.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Let's take a deep breath in together.
Before we start the next stage of this experience,
Breathe in and breathe out.
Now I want you to imagine it's a beautiful day and you found yourself in the woods.
The trees around you are big leaf maple trees.
Large giant trees as they cover the canopy.
The grass beneath you is soft.
Though it is autumn,
The ground is still warm.
The colors are vibrant.
The leaves bright reds and orange and yellow.
Some remaining shades of green.
In the distance,
You hear a stream.
You begin to make your way towards it.
The stream gets louder as you get closer until you finally reach its banks.
Next to the stream,
You notice a big pile of leaves.
And you feel called to lay down on top of them.
As you lay on these leaves and look up at the canopy above you,
You feel your body beginning to relax even deeper.
Realizing how the leaves feel underneath your body.
You begin to notice the sounds all around you.
The crickets chirping.
Singing their gentle song by your side.
You hear the wind blow as the gust brushes through the trees.
Brushes against your skin.
Bringing you a deep sense of peace and comfort.
As we relax,
Our mind naturally begins to wander.
Thinking about what we have to do later.
Situations from the past.
You may even be wondering what you are doing here in this moment.
All of these thoughts are completely natural.
And it's time to let them go.
As the wind blows through the trees,
It begins to drop its leaves.
And as each of these leaves fall down in front of you,
I want you to attach your thoughts to each of them and let them go down the stream.
Every thought that surfaces is to simply be observed,
Acknowledged,
And released into the falling leaf as you let it go down the stream.

This is your opportunity to observe these thoughts without judgment,
Without expectation,
Without reaction,
And to simply observe them as they are,
Thoughts,

As they surface,
You can let them go.
The wind softly blowing the chime.
Bringing you that deep sense of peace as you lie comfortably on that pile of leaves.

I want you to take a few more moments to process any final thoughts you have.
And really allow yourself to consciously let them go.
Breathing into those feelings I release.

In the distance,
You see a log cabin.
Glowing orange and yellow lights coming through the windows.
Smoke pouring from a cobblestone chimney.
Now the scent of burning wood in the air.
And you begin to walk towards it.
The sound has become more quiet.
The sound of the stream becoming more quiet.
Further and further from the bank.
The grass soft and warm beneath your feet.
Soon all you're hearing are the sounds of the crickets and the wind blowing through the leaves.
Whisking its way through the canopy of the trees.
The night is warm and calm.
As you listen to the final songs of the crickets.
You begin to walk up the steps to the cabin.
Feeling the last gust of wind brush against your skin.
The cabin is warm and inviting.
As you make your way in.
You immediately feel the deep warmth of this cabin.
Comfortable,
Cozy,
Relaxing.
The cabin is small and quaint.
And you hear the fire crackling in the living room.
Big beautiful fireplace awaits you.
Radiating this warmth from the fire.
The sounds bring you a deep peace.
Nostalgic,
Comfortable feeling.
In front of the fire is a large pile of blankets and pillows perfectly laid for you to take a seat.
You lie down on your back.
Feeling the fire's warmth kiss your skin.
And you continue your process of just letting go.
All these vibrations to hold space for you to just relax.
There's nothing you have to do.
No place you have to be.
Space was designed just for you.

Thoughts can be good at filling our day with situations and scenarios that don't truly exist.
Even at times playing like a broken record.
Repeating moments over and over again.
We take our power back by finding practices and exercises to let these invasive thoughts go.
Thoughts are natural and a part of our lives.
But they don't need to rule them.
And the power comes in by how we react to them.
When we can witness our thoughts without judgment,
Without criticism,
And to simply observe them.
Witness them as they are.
Acknowledge them.
And freely and consciously let them go.
Thoughts are necessary,
But they don't need to control us.
They don't need to run our lives.
And the more we practice how we maintain them,
The easier it becomes to prevent the attachment to them.
The easier it becomes to just observe them without allowing them to drive us mad.
Visualization practices make it a little bit easier for us to attach those thoughts to other types of thoughts and to let them go.
We hope that this experience here was beneficial to you.
