In this meditation,
We will be connecting to calm and clarity using lavender for a lovely guided visualization.
If you have a lavender candle or anything lavender scented,
You might enjoy having it near you.
Otherwise,
Use your imagination as we settle into the space.
Begin by noticing wherever you currently are.
Feeling the support of whatever is beneath you,
Whether it's a cushion or a chair.
Notice how your body is making connection here.
Feel the rhythm of your breath,
Allowing each inhale to invite in calm as each exhale releases tension.
Allow your eyes to soften here,
Perhaps fully closing depending on what feels helpful to you.
Allowing each breath to carry you inwards towards stillness.
Now imagine that in front of you there is a lavender field stretching as far as the eye can see.
The soft purple flowers sway gently in a warm golden breeze.
The air is rich with lavender's sweet herbal aroma,
Clean,
Calming,
And soothing to the spirit.
As you breathe in,
Allow the scent of lavender to move through you,
Clearing away any tension remaining in your mind and body.
Feeling your shoulders relax,
Your jaw soften,
Your forehead smooth.
Lavender has long been a symbol of peace,
Clarity,
And devotion.
Its purple blossoms are reminiscent of the crown chakra,
Your connection to the divine and higher guidance.
The delicate green stems remind us of growth,
Renewal,
And balance.
As you breathe in,
You feel lavender's energy opening your mind to clarity.
As you exhale,
You feel its calming nature washing away anxiety,
Fear,
And heaviness.
Visualize a path opening in front of you in this field of lavender.
Walking between the blooms,
Perhaps feeling these gentle flowers brushing your fingertips.
With each step,
You feel the nourishing support of the earth beneath you.
This path opens to a small clearing.
Where you find a place to sit,
Surrounded by the lavender blooms around you.
With a gentle breeze,
The flowers are swaying gently.
Breathing here,
As you allow all your focus to rest.
With the soothing sway of the lavender blossoms.
Inhaling clarity,
And exhaling letting go of anything no longer serving you.
As you fully embody the energy of the lavender around you,
I invite you to join me in these three affirmations.
I will recite one at a time,
And I invite you to repeat silently or aloud after me.
I am calm,
Centered,
And safe.
I release what no longer serves me.
Clarity and peace flow through me.
Breathing deeply here,
As you notice how it felt to sit with those affirmations.

As you breathe in these words,
Perhaps you find yourself sitting a little taller.
Feeling at once energized and relaxed.
Visualize yourself picking a small bouquet of lavender blooms from this beautiful field.
Taking these flowers with you.
Metaphorically,
As a reminder that calm and clarity are always within your reach.
Slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Blinking your eyes open if they were closed.
And looking around the space where you've been meditating,
As you fully bring yourself back to this moment.
