Welcome,
This is a guided meditation to help you embrace your inner awareness.
Let's begin with your posture,
Spine alert,
Strong,
Soft face.
You may be lying down or seated.
I invite you to be at ease,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Your hands,
Your entire body,
Your facial muscles,
Relaxing your jaw,
Your inner ears,
The space between your eyes and maybe bringing a smile to your face.
As thoughts arise,
Let them pass,
Let them pass and begin again with a deep breath,
Just like that.
You are here to embrace yourself with your inner awareness.
So let's begin with a gentle body scan,
Beginning at your root,
Your sitting bones,
Whether you're seated on a chair or on the ground or laying down,
Feel yourself getting heavy through your seat,
Feeling that connection to the earth,
The earth that you walk on or sit and the same earth that which we are all connected to each other.
Feel yourself getting grounded,
Rooting down to the surface beneath you,
Moving that energy through your legs,
Your shin and your feet,
Feeling more of that connection to the earth and relaxing through that awareness.
Feel your breath slowing down,
Slowing each inhale and exhale.
I now invite you to bring one hand on your belly and one hand on your heart,
Your belly helping you feel that connection to your self,
Your power,
Your self-worth and the hand on your heart reminding you of compassion and grace for yourself.
Feel the strength and love emerging for yourself right now.
Settle in with this energy softening,
Expanding,
Releasing,
Opening your heart just like that.
Notice your breath,
Calm and easy,
Effortless and relaxed,
Moving your attention to the space between your eyes.
Visualize a light that is surrounding you and feeling the connection with the space within you,
Above you and around you.
May you have more love,
Compassion and ease towards yourself and others.
I'll now leave you with the music and for you to just focus on your breath as you relax and ground yourself even more before you slowly come back to the space within you and around you.
Slowly open your eyes,
Bring your hand to your heart and perhaps bowing down and offering thanks for yourself.
