Welcome,

This is Radhika and I'm so happy to be with you here today.

Thank you for making time for this practice for yourself.

Today I'm going to be guiding you on a meditation on self-love.

This is a powerful practice that can help you bring a sense of calm and ease to your active mind.

And can help bring attention to your innermost self where you'll find a source for inner peace and acceptance.

So before we begin I invite you to come to a relaxing and comfortable position.

And to be aware that this is the very first action you're taking towards self-love for yourself.

So we begin by taking in five,

Four and deep breaths,

Holding it for a moment at the top and naturally exhaling.

So we will begin by breathing in deeply,

Holding at the top and exhale gently.

Again inhale,

Expanding your belly and lungs as much as you can.

Hold it,

Soak it in and exhale.

Inhale again fresh oxygen that's going to be supplied to your blood stream,

Holding to soak it in and exhale effortlessly.

And again inhaling noticing how breathing fully is coming naturally for you.

Pause to soak it in and exhale.

And again inhaling fully as an act of love towards yourself,

Pausing to feel the love and exhale completely into relaxation.

Let your breath flow at a pace now without any effort.

Good.

As we know well the deep breathing can increase the supply of oxygen to our brain and it stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system also known as the rest and digest system.

And the more often we do this deep breathing,

It's going to relax us at the cellular level,

Rejuvenating us and making us feel vibrant inside out.

Now let's honor ourself by relaxing the mind even further.

If you notice thoughts that are arising in your mind,

See them come,

See them go,

Welcome them.

Some may linger,

Some may be there for a split second.

If you can focus,

You will notice even small thoughts such as describing the world around you or labeling the things in your surroundings.

Now I invite you to become alert to the sounds in your environment.

Maybe you're hearing the sounds of your own breath or you can hear the leaves rustling with the sound of the wind,

The birds chirping in the background or people having conversation.

Perhaps there are cars driving around you or passing around you.

Just go from sound to sound focusing on one at a time.

Good.

Now stop focusing on one sound in particular and just allow all of the sounds around you to come in equally.

And when you hear them,

They almost act as waves of relaxation calming your mind.

Good.

Your mind is actually relaxing when you activate your senses just like that.

And it helps you come back to the present.

Now we're going to go deeper into inducing self-love by using your wonderful visualization abilities to imagine yourself full of abundance and self-love.

See yourself now choosing really healthy and vibrant foods.

Perhaps you're harvesting them from your backyard or getting them from the local farmers market.

Notice when you eat how you feel yourself enjoying these moments and you're feeling the effects and the benefits of the ingredients,

Ingredients you're putting in your body,

The choices you're making.

See yourself saying no to the things that don't feel in alignment with how you want to feel.

Good.

Eating healthy and nourishing ourselves with vibrant foods is an essential part of activating self-love.

Another form of self-love is observing your thoughts and for us to feel great self-love,

We must focus on the things that we feel about ourselves that increase our vibration and challenge any that bring us down.

So hear yourself affirming when I love myself fully,

I'm able to love others fully.

Deciding to love myself is a wonderful agreement.

Affirm to yourself that each day I allow my love for myself to grow more and more.

I'm worthy of love and I honor the joy that comes with it.

I love myself unconditionally no matter what happens I feel wonderful.

I deserve love and I respect and I honor myself.

My self-esteem,

My confidence grows along with my self-love and acceptance.

For myself.

Today I love myself even more than yesterday.

Truly loving myself is effortless for me and the more I love myself the better is my health and being.

I love every moment of my existence.

I have unconditional love that overflows in abundance to those around me.

Take a final deep breath in,

Soak in all that love for yourself and exhale.

And now gently open your eyes,

Take another deep breath and know that whenever you love yourself you will find love.
