Take a moment to really get comfortable.
Allow your body this moment to rest.
Offer your awareness to the whole body.
Notice in this moment how the whole body feels.
As you offer your awareness to this body,
Become aware of any tension.
Can you surrender any gripping of the muscles in your face?
Can you soften your jaw?
Soften the throat.
Allow in this moment your shoulders to surrender.
Notice in this moment if there's any gripping in the stomach.
Really give the body permission to relax.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep inhale.
Feel the whole body with that breath.
As you breathe out,
Really allow the body to find stillness.
To be here now.
Notice the subtle sensations of each breath.
The cool air entering through your nose.
The calm rise and fall of your chest.
Notice the subtle expansion and contraction of the side of your ribs.
And the back of your ribs.
Allow your breath to be what anchors you into this moment.
Right now.
Be held in this moment.
Know that right now there is nothing that requires anything from you or of you.
Allow yourself to surrender into this union.
You exactly as you are.
It's okay.
Breathe.
For a moment lay down your weapons.
Remove the armor that you've held on to so tightly.
Unspoken words,
Unkept promises.
Actions taken in fear,
Resisting the very peace that you seek.
All surrendered now at your feet.
It's okay.
Breathe right into the center of your chest.
Breathe into opening.
Unshackle your feet from the chains of what could have been.
What scares you about the unfolding of a new way?
Held in this space,
This time,
This moment of surrender.
It's okay.
Be unbound,
Bare and held by pure light.
Heart expanding with each new breath.
Every arrival here,
A new version of you emerges.
Wiser,
Kinder,
More loving.
More at ease within your own skin.
