This episode unravels Moving to a Higher Circle which explains how life’s storms will continue to repeat until we learn the lesson it came to teach. It has been said that Earth is a school. Like our education systems whereby one must pass each grade before graduating to the next, the trials and tribulations we face are not random, but lessons carefully chosen by Spirit to develop within us some quality or overcome a deficiency which we must transcend before moving to the next circle of growth.

Hello spiritual seekers!

Welcome to another episode of the Unraveling Shaltazar Podcast featuring me,

Mark Lane,

Spiritual seeker,

Writer,

Along with the mouthpiece of Shaltazar,

My good friend and co-conspirator,

Jeffrey Eisen.

For those of you who may be unfamiliar,

Jeffrey is a Toronto-based spiritual life coach,

Energy intuitive,

Teacher,

And channeler of a spiritual entity who goes by the name Shaltazar.

With the help and support of Shaltazar's cosmic wisdom,

It is Jeffrey's mission to assist in shifting the consciousness of our planet.

It is my pleasure to assist Jeffrey in making this marvelous wisdom available to the largest possible audience and to unravel it in an understandable and comprehensible way.

Hello Jeffrey,

How are you today?

I'm doing well,

Mark.

I'm doing well.

How are things in Chicago?

Snowy.

Yes,

I was talking to someone in Chicago this morning and they told me that and obviously you sent it our way so next time you get snow,

If you don't mind,

Keep it.

Well,

I was going to say you're welcome but if you're going to be that way,

All right,

We'll keep it here.

All right,

I appreciate that.

I appreciate it.

It's flat here,

We have a lot of place to store it.

Good!

Well,

That's good to hear.

That's good to hear because we live in the big city of Toronto where there is no room for snow.

Uh-huh,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah.

Push it all into the lake,

Right?

Yeah,

Into the lake,

Big pile.

So I'm excited to hear what we're going to be talking about today.

So today,

Based on some other work we're doing,

I chose the message,

Moving to a Higher Circle and you and I have discussed this message personally before and it's one of my favorites.

I think it's really relevant to times and also relevant to,

I think,

A lot of the experiences people are having and I think the thing about it and there's,

It's a long message,

There's lots of pieces to it,

Lots of facets to it but it gets to the heart of the idea which is something I've been kind of working with lately that the circumstances which occur outside of us,

This message kind of gets the idea that those aren't as important as how we respond to those things that are happening and are,

You know,

Taking it one step further that our responses,

Depending on how we respond may in fact dictate what comes next.

So I'm going to use that as the springboard to let you sort this out for us.

Yeah,

Yeah.

There's that saying that life doesn't happen to me,

Life happens for me,

Something along those lines and so I do sense for me that the biggest message that continues to be reiterated by Shaltazar is that our main,

Somewhat our main purpose in life is the learning and growth and so all of these experiences that are happening,

It is for learning and growth and so by taking the focus off of the external,

That this happened or that happened,

I have recently,

Probably within the last year or so,

Tried to look at all of those from the perspective of what is this trying to teach me and it's really,

Really fascinating.

I find it really,

Really fascinating and this message,

It's kind of interesting because,

And I forgot about the first half of it because what really stuck was the big insight,

The learning where they said this is what learning is from this message,

But the first part of it is around storms and stormy seas and how storms come about and it's kind of an interesting analogy because often you see those big rain clouds coming and then all of a sudden it's really stormy and next thing you know,

The sun's coming out and you forget about it and what they're saying is that often people are getting into that negative mindset where they're kind of waiting for the next storm.

It's sort of like when's the next shoe going to drop kind of thing and what they're saying in this is that first of all,

You're absolutely right,

It's how we choose to respond to what comes our way that is really going to determine whether that storm keeps coming or not,

But secondly,

The part that I find fascinating is that there's a theme of the storm and if you don't get the learning and growth,

If you don't extract that particular theme or learning and growth,

You're going to have to repeat.

It's sort of like school I guess.

I was fortunate I was kind of that nerdy kid and I never had to repeat a grade,

But it's like repeating a grade.

If you don't pass the subject,

Then you're going to have to come back and do it again and I sense that most of our experiences and I noticed that.

Actually,

It's really fascinating this weekend I noticed that because every weekend when I sort of stop my coaching and my projects and channeling shelters are,

It's sort of boring and you know,

It's I mean so much of my life I love the weekends and dreaded work and now it's reverse and this weekend I treated it a little bit different and it's like,

Whoa,

I think I got it.

I think I get to move to the next circle and my Monday was very,

Very different than it's been in the past.

So I don't know if you've noticed that in your life where some of your issues continue to come back around and around.

Yeah,

I struggled with that.

I mean this is maybe the reason that I like this message so well is that I struggled with that idea quite a bit and I'm just now I think coming to a complete understanding of it,

I guess but my reaction to those storms was always you know to shake my fist at the sky and fight back and the the and you're great with explaining paradoxes,

But the paradoxical nature of this is when something comes into your life that you don't want you know,

Our perhaps primordial instinct is to fight back against it and in doing so we're thinking well if I if I fight back and I vanquish it if I kill it if I you know run a sword through its heart,

It's it I'm going to win and it's not going to come back and really just the opposite is true according to you know,

That's what the message is saying and that's what my you know,

My life experiences have taught me that the paradox in all of this is that when those things come that you don't want is to learn not to fight back against them and to instead embrace them which just doesn't make much sense,

But that's what seems to work.

Oh,

Yeah.

Yeah to me what's coming up is is that lesson that and I think I'm on this circle of the control surrender continuum and and if you try to control the situation if you try to win to beat it to beat it out that control just keeps it coming and to a certain degree it's sort of like the mind shelters are often says that you don't want to fight the mind you want to transcend the mind so you really want to sort of move above it you want to surrender and not fight which you know right away I'm seeing that white flag weakness kind of we're going to surrender and lose but I have found just the opposite that when I surrender I win because they come pouring in and help me out and and so it's I find it fascinating how surrender is really serving me when you understand the nuances of surrender and and I I can't emphasize enough to the listeners that if you do not handle the issue that you are facing if you keep fighting it like like you did in the past I'm sure you will attest it keeps coming back I know it did to me I know it did to me it well and it comes back with a far greater ferocity and and you know I used to struggle with my temper quite a bit and whenever I had an angry reaction to something I got immediate feedback that was worse than the thing that made me angry in the first place and and usually it was like you know if I gave into my anger I you know I would you know whatever I thought the bad thing whatever the bad thing was or the thing that I interpreted as being a bad thing that happened I made it way worse you know I and you know the my my phone didn't work and so I slammed it on the desk and broke the screen and now I don't have a phone you know so that's that's kind of the instant feedback I would get from those situations yeah yeah it's interesting somebody asked asked me the question I put it up on our insight a timer circle that I had you know because you would pick this message and I listened to it and I put it out and someone asked the question because in the message Shaltazar talks about detoxifying after the storm I don't know if you recall that part of it and and the question was asked well how do you detoxify now in the message Shaltazar talks about meditating getting in nature doing your yoga which is really a release and I was kind of puzzled by that saying well you know is that really going to help detoxify is that going to really help you learn the lesson that you're supposed to on on that circle of consciousness or on that plane and and when I checked in what came to me it's important if you want to detoxify to get in touch with the emotion so what would Shaltazar say is that when you were feeling that anger then ask what that anger wanted to teach you what it wanted to tell you why were you feeling that anger and and Shaltazar often in many messages talks about processing those feelings in a healthy and appropriate way so I I would suggest if if this came up again and the anger is there then you say what is that anger wanting to tell me and I think by going into the feeling that you're feeling in that storm you will start to unravel the thread of the learning and growth that you're supposed to for that particular course of study grade however you want to think of it circle I I love the idea of a circle and and in this message Shaltazar talks about the fact that many humans really exist on one or few planes or circles in their whole lifetime and others are fortunate enough to progress to higher circles or higher levels of consciousness they make it quite clear that it's not a judgment and and I think of my parents because I really believe that my parents didn't really advance too many levels of of of consciousness that the issues that they had when I was growing up as a teenager seemed to be similar issues when I was in my 30s when I was in my 50s they seemed to keep going through and it's like you know been there done that I mean you know mom dad I've seen this you know how come it keeps repeating and and that's because you know obviously their lifetime experience was to go over the same thing over and over again I feel extremely fortunate and and I know I see this in you we get to sort of move up the circles and and we get to figure out different issues than we did five 10 15 years ago and and I will I will caution the listeners the the issues keep coming because I really believe that what we're here for is learning and growth but as you move to these higher levels of consciousness the ability to spot them the ability to process the learning and the ability to move on does get better would you not would you agree with that oh yeah absolutely it it seems to get easier at a quantum level you know you know as time continues to move forward you know that anger issue for example I with you know with your help actually I was able to kind of like you said process you know that that anger and I did ask it what it was trying to tell me and it was basically it was talking about self-worth it was talking about you know loving yourself taking you know you know self-care and and once I kind of got to that understanding of you know that all my anger was inward directed with self-directed I was angry at myself for my own incompetence or my own perceived failure that once I started to be a little more gentle with myself and a little more loving towards myself that the anger went away and and so that's kind of that to learning the lesson and that's allowing you to move to that next circle that next level or that next step in the helix you know to to whatever we're trying to you know to get to I guess right right and and and both you and I agree that it's not the destination it's that journey so it doesn't really matter what level in the helix we are we're we're unlike some of the young people that are addicted to video games it's not about winning it's about enjoying that that journey of the helix is and I I would assume that that anger issue is not there as much anymore is it hardly ever yeah I mean and and when it right when it surfaces when it bubbles up the first thing I think of is oh I'm being nasty to myself you know and I take a breath and I step back and it's fine right so it does work it's it's yeah it's fascinating isn't it it is fascinating that you move to that that next level and and they do get easier they do get easier that the issue I was working on with that sort of weekends and whatever was an impatience thing and not only did I I get to sort of process it but you know a new shelters our channeling came out of it which is really kind of neat and and so the the you seem to have more more tools in the toolbox when you are able to process these things because the lessons you learn and I guess it's like school right I mean if if you you know learn basic numbers in elementary school by the time you get to high school you know calculus and algebra maybe if you're lucky is a little bit easier for some and never is but it's the same as as you know you you learned the letters you learned the alphabet and now you're a brilliant writer right and and so you built on on your basic understanding of language to become the writer that you are and so from an emotional mental spiritual perspective that's just what we're trying to do is build on those lessons that that we learned so that we can continue to make life a little bit easier and and not as much suffering right right and and I I had parents I'm sure of the same generation as yours and had the same experience my my my mom was more of a spiritual person she was more religious and so she kind of had some inklings to in that regard but my dad he was a football coach and you know he he got on a path and and you know never looked to either side you just kept marching forward and you know I and so I think that we're all called to learn these lessons and we're all in I mean you know this this dimension or this world has been described by many you know many religious and metaphysical and and spiritual scholars as as a school you know just one big school but I think we can each make the choice as to whether we want to participate in the curriculum or not right well and and I will point out when you don't then you saw what happened with that anger right you know your phone broke and and so you know it's your choice as to whether you want the suffering the the laws of the universe are going to be there and so if you don't participate in the curriculum don't expect an easy ride the the the greatest chance of an easy ride is to embrace this learning and growth to keep keep looking at how you can learn and and another point I want to make is that the awareness of the learning can come after the fact right so you don't you don't have to be in the midst of the storm to be able to figure it out and and that's what I think they were saying in this message is when the calm after the storm is there don't just frivolously go about your business forgetting about the difficulty or the emotional mental traumas you had take some time meditate go in nature and say okay what happened why did I why did I react that way why did I feel so impatient why did I feel so angry why did I feel so frustrated and and and that awareness after the fact will start to create some new neural pathways so that the next time that storm hits which is again the same issue you're going to be able to to handle it a little bit different that awareness then becomes before the fact or within the fact as opposed to after the fact so take some time and think about the storms think about all of the the challenges that you face and then reflect on them after and and you know there's all kinds of meditations on insight timer find whatever it is that works for you and I think that's that detox that that Shaltazar is talking about whether it's processing your emotions whether it's sitting in silence whether it's feeling what happened during that storm it's take the time after so that the storm will not be so intense the next time and and we know one of the other things that this message points out is is when we're talking about storms you know we're always thinking about this these linear storms that are coming from someplace the one of the things the message points out is that it's not necessarily a different storm it's the same storm it just keeps coming around again until you learn to process it in a different way and then it'll be a different storm next time right and and that's it that's an interesting paradigm shift if you kind of start to see it as circular then you you you you can take more responsibility for it if you think it's linear non-related right it's like what happened to me in in in my teens is like whoa I'm in my 30s it's different well if you start to look at it you realize that yes you know maybe you're older but the same emotional traumas are coming up and so thank you for for reiterating that point that is really really critical to this message and opens up this whole insight of of of shelters are telling us that life is more circular and cyclical than linear right right exactly well I think we're just about out of time we've we've used up our time went by you know faster than I faster than I can imagine so I don't know if you have any other final words but this was a great conversation I enjoyed it I'm glad we I'm glad we talked about this this message because it's excellent choice it's a good one yeah excellent choice Mark I have nothing else to say enjoy your circles people and enjoy the ride thank you so much for choosing this message mark and for hosting this series I I look forward to our conversations on a weekly basis for this unraveling shelters our series as do I thank you Jeffrey talk to you next time take care love and light to everyone
