Tonight I'm going to be guiding you in the self-love and forgiveness meditation,
Ho'oponopono.
Ho'oponopono is a ancient Hawaiian technique that has been used in this meditation to help you really connect with compassion,
With love,
With forgiveness.
Often we carry so much within ourselves that really we don't even realize is within us.
That's keeping us from moving forward.
We carry anger,
We carry fear,
We carry stories and experiences that have kept us being safe,
Right?
Being in this moment.
Our subconscious mind will always do its job to protect us,
To make sure that we don't always need to experience the tough moments and traumas that we may have experienced in the past.
But yet these experiences will always be there and may rise to the surface down the road.
And when we're taken to the space,
We're being challenged to drop these stories and connect inward,
Connect with our hearts,
Connect with the learnings from these experiences.
When we carry shame and fear,
It really only hurts us at the end,
Right?
It hurts us from experiencing expansion.
It hurts us from experiencing love.
It hurts us from being the highest expression of ourselves.
So when we are practicing the prayer of Ho Poonopono,
It's really simple.
We're connecting with the energy of love and compassion and forgiveness.
So if this is something that maybe you're feeling towards someone else,
Unforgiveness,
This is a beautiful way to connect,
To allow yourself to drop these walls.
To allow yourself to trust yourself.
And even though you may physically not be near that person,
You're able to energetically break that tie,
Energetically forgive them,
So that most of all,
You can forgive yourself.
When we're on this journey of forgiveness,
Often we need to look within,
To look within our hearts.
Where are we holding back?
Where are we not allowing ourselves to see?
What is it that we're not allowing ourselves to see?
So in this moment,
As we say this prayer,
If you're wanting to connect to this energy of love and forgiveness for yourself,
Feel free to do that.
Or if you're wanting to send this love and forgiveness towards somebody else,
That's beautiful as well.
So I want you to take this moment to place your hands on your heart.
And we're gonna say this prayer.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me.
Thank you,
I love you.
Repeat after me.
Repeat after me.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me.
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me.
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me.
Thank you,
I love you.
Taking a deep breath in your nose.
Breathing in that love,
Exhaling that forgiveness.
Breathing in again in your nose.
And out your mouth,
Releasing forgiveness.
And I want you to just check in and see how you're feeling right now.
After saying this prayer,
What's coming up for you?
Are you feeling lighter?
Are you feeling angry?
Are you feeling shame?
Whatever feelings are coming up for you,
Know it's safe.
You get to release,
You get to forgive.
And you get to return back to love.
So I want you to silently say this prayer to yourself for a couple more minutes.
And as the music plays,
I want you to just connect to that beautiful energy of love and forgiveness.
This is your time to really connect in and allow yourself to feel what's coming up for you.
Forgiveness can be a really hard thing and also a very liberating feeling to let go.
So I honor you tonight as you allow yourself to be here in this moment.
Be here in this moment.
Be here in this moment.
Be here in this moment.
Be here in this moment.
Be here in this moment.
At this moment,
We're going to bring a gentle awareness to our hands,
To our feet.
Just wiggling your body,
A gentle movement,
More aware of our environment around us.
Just notice how you're feeling now versus how you felt when you came into this meditation.
I want you again to honor yourself for showing up today.
Self-love and forgiveness is one of the most powerful things that we can do to really connect into our power,
To connect into our purpose,
To connect into how we can create an impact with others.
The most powerful relationship we can have first is with ourselves.
So whether that be forgiving others or forgiving yourself,
Just know that when you do this work,
You're creating an impact.
This ripple effect affects your neighbors,
Affects others all around you.
Thank you again for joining me with this powerful meditation,
Sending you so much love and light.
