This is Karen with Open Lotus Meditation.
In today's meditation,
We're going to open our heart to self-love,
To self-compassion,
To self-care.
We spend many hours of the day pleasing others,
Giving unconditionally,
Providing care for those we love,
For those we work with,
To our friends and family.
We find ourselves forgetting about the most important person in your life,
You.
You deserve this time to provide yourself unconditional love and kindness.
When we provide this much needed time for us,
We can love more freely.
We can extend ourselves with greater joy and without resentment.
So let's begin this journey of self-love,
Of self-care,
And self-compassion by closing our eyes,
Taking a deep breath in and releasing.
Let's do that one more time,
Taking a deep breath in and release.
Relaxing your body,
Slowing your mind just a little bit,
Bringing complete relaxation into your space.
And let's bring some awareness into our body,
Beginning with our brows.
Relax this area of your body,
Of your face.
Let go of all tension.
Let go of all stressors.
Feel all that tension just melt away.
Moving down to our eyes,
Making sure they're gently closed and not straining.
Your mouth is relaxed,
Our jaw is unclenched,
Our shoulders are relaxed away from our ears,
Really allowing our bodies to just be in this moment.
Just witness what you're feeling right now.
Witness your body,
Witness it relaxing,
Centering,
Grounding.
This is your time of self-love,
Of self-care.
And let's float here for just a few moments.
Remember to breathe in and out through this meditation.
Let's begin by opening our heart to the universe,
Opening our dialogue by asking some sacred questions.
Let's start by asking,
Will I let love in today?

This is your time to allow the love for you to flourish.

Now let's fill our heart with love,
With joy,
With happiness,
With bliss by asking,
What am I grateful for?
What am I grateful for today?
Let that list run.
What brings you so much joy and happiness that it brings a smile to your face right now?

Now,
Let's place our hand over our heart and ask,
What does my heart truly long for?
What do you need?
What do you desire?
This is all about you,
Allowing your heart to open for what you really long for.
Take a few moments,
Allow those answers to just bubble up.

Continue to welcome positive,
Nurturing and caring energy.
Be in this space of self-love and self-care and self-compassion.
