Close your eyes gently,
And let yourself breathe in.
Drop your shoulders softly,
Then exhale all within.
As you ease into the rhythm of soft,
Simple breathing,
See if you can notice all those thoughts that are reeling.
An endless list of tasks,
The plans you have to make,
All the things left undone,
The coordination it all takes.
Then see if you can notice your emotions bubble up,
They rise and fall like ocean waves,
Overflowing your heart's cup.
Now see yourself stand apart from this cluster of all that.
These thoughts and emotions are not you,
You're so much more than fact.
So breathe real deep and slow it down,
This life that moves too fast.
Just come into this moment now,
And watch this moment last.
Even when the whirlwind of all the moving parts feels like it'll blow you down,
There's steadiness in your heart.
Let your breathing slow you,
And let your body calm.
Bring your awareness right here,
Let presence bring you home.
Perhaps within this stillness,
You'll hear just what to do.
Perhaps you'll simply feel the peace spread inside of you.
There's time for all the things in life that fill your precious soul.
When life feels like it moves too fast,
Slow down,
Let go of control.
Feel your eyes move gently,
And let yourself breathe in.
Drop your shoulders softly,
And exhale all within.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
