Good evening and welcome.
Welcome to tonight's sleep meditation.
Thank you for joining me.
You've been holding so much today,
More than anyone can see,
More than you can name.
You've braved the ache of uncertainty,
The sharp edges of too many thoughts,
The invisible weight that anxiety quietly lays on your shoulders.
And yet,
Here you are.
You made it to this moment.
You made it to your bed.
You made it to this breath.
So come now,
Lay yourself down into the arms of the night,
And give the earth your tired bones.
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your jaw unclench,
Let your heart stop racing,
And let it all fall,
Let it all melt,
Let it all soften.
You have done enough.
There is no more to carry.
You are worthy of rest,
Because you are you.
You are safe to rest because you are here.
Let yourself be cradled by the silence.
Let the night take its watch over you.
You are a sacred being,
Wrapped in stardust and bones,
Learning how to be human with a heart that still longs to be light.
So go ahead,
You can let go now.
Let go of the tension in your chest.
Let go of the tightness in your belly.
Let go of the trying,
The proving,
The pleasing.
Let go of the story.
Let go of the outcome.
Let go of what you thought today should have been.
Come home to this body,
This breath,
This moment.
It's the safest place to rest.
Let your nervous system feel your presence again,
And feel your own gentle return,
Like a mother's hand over your heart,
Like a hush of wind through the trees,
Like a lullaby you forgot you knew the words to.
Sleep will come,
Peace will come,
Just be here and trust,
Be here and let go.
The night is here to hold you,
And you are deeply loved.
Let the letting go be your prayer.
Let the quiet do the healing.
Let your soul rest,
Let your nervous system unwind,
And let yourself slow down and drift into the dreams of sleep.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
