South Africa native Kelly Almond-Lundy, MBACP Accredited, is a qualified yoga teacher and Counsellor/Psychotherapist, founder of Amukelani Counselling. She has lived in England for the last 27 years and is passionate about her job and helping people to find self-love and peace. Her person-centred approach to therapy and meditation is woven into the workshops and led meditations she offers on topics including fear, self-esteem, depression, body image, relationship issues, anxiety and stress. Although a qualified Yoga Teacher, her passion lies mainly in meditation, breathing techniques and chanting. Through these practices of pranayama, chanting and visualization she gently guides us to the answers within and to a place of surrender and acceptance.

I’m in a Step, Tradition and concept Al-Anon where we begin our weekly meetings with the extended Serenity prayer. I have actually looked up the original prayer which is even more powerful but this version doesn’t “offend” as many people. That said it is Still extremely powerful, and I greatly appreciate how it was presented to Breathe and repeat the phrases with her during the meditation. I strongly recommend anyone who is curious to listen as well as anyone in any kind of recovery to hear this meditation to help set their day’s intentions for a more peaceful day. Thank you.
