Sometimes the weight we carry isn’t physical — it’s emotional. The unseen pressure of being strong, holding it all together, or moving through uncertainty can live quietly in the body until we pause long enough to feel it. This second session in the Surrendered series is an invitation to let the body exhale. Through slow breathing, mindful awareness, and nervous system soothing, you’ll begin to release the heaviness you’ve been holding — the kind that makes even simple moments feel hard. As you settle into the rhythm of your breath, you’ll remember that the ground beneath you can hold the weight you no longer need to carry. Gentle, grounding, and deeply restorative — this practice helps you soften back into yourself and return to a feeling of quiet relief. Welcome back love,

This is the second session in our five part journey called Surrendered.

Sleep meditations for moms who do it all.

Each night we're practicing the art of letting go,

Settling down what you've carried,

Softening into your body,

Remembering that you're already enough without all the doing.

Tonight's practice is for the weight you've been holding,

Not just the physical exhaustion but the invisible weight of responsibilities,

Expectations and the quiet pressure to hold it all together.

This is your space now to set it down,

To breathe,

We're going to start with some breaths.

We'll breathe in gently through the nose for a count of four,

Hold for four,

Breathe out slowly through the mouth with a sigh for four,

And we'll do this three times together,

Side by side,

Gently inhale through your nose,

One,

Pausing at the bottom,

Four,

Three,

There is no perfect moment to do this perfectly,

And there is no perfect way to settle.

This is simply your body's rhythm returning to itself and responsibilities you've been carrying today,

Back resting on your shoulders,

Picture yourself sliding this back off of your shoulders and setting it down beside you,

A stone for being ever since your body softening,

You don't have to get rid of these forever,

Just for tonight,

You can set them down,

Notice your shoulders now,

Notice your chest,

Lighter than it's ever felt before,

Notice your belly,

Completely relaxed and free to take whatever form it feels most comfortable in,

Feel your whole body lighter with every breath,

Without asking for anything in return,

To set down what is heavy,

Even when things feel unfinished,

And you are safe,

It's not something to earn,

It's something to receive,

And you can be supported.
