Sometimes no matter how hard we may try to keep moving forward and getting the things done that we need to get done can get challenging.
It can be masked as procrastination but it often is fear and overwhelm.
So I invite you to find a comfortable seated position maybe on the ground or on a chair or even on your bed and give yourself a moment to get comfortable as you elongate your spine,
Let your shoulders relax down and away from your ears and eventually soften your gaze down or let your eyes close.
Take a deep breath in through your nose allowing it to expand front to back,
Side to side and top to bottom.
Open your mouth and sigh it out.
Notice how you feel and how you arrive in this moment.
The physical sensations,
The emotions that arise as you start to consider the things that you need to do.
Give yourself a moment to just be honest with yourself about how you feel without any need to change it,
To improve.
Take a deep breath in,
Fill up your entire body,
Sigh it out.
Just start to imagine that right from where you are everything that can go well goes well.
In the same way that you can allow thoughts of doom and negativity to take over,
Could you consider the opposite?
Could you let yourself consider that from this point forward today everything will fall into place?
Conversations will go smoothly,
Meetings will be brief,
Breaks will be long and nurturing.
You will find the space to live in alignment with who you know you truly are.
Take a deep breath in,
Expand your belly,
Your ribcage,
Your chest.
Perhaps hold at the top feeling this sense of abundance and sigh it out.
Feeling any tension soften and release.
Once you're ready,
Start to open your eyes,
Allowing the world to appear in front of you once again.
Maybe a little bit brighter,
The sense of possibility.
