Hey there.

Welcome.

I'm Lauren Behr.

I'm really glad you're here.

Go ahead and find a comfy spot,

Sitting,

Laying down,

Cross-legged on a cushion,

Whatever feels natural.

Just let your body arrive.

Take a slow breath in through your nose and let it out easy.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw unclench.

Let gravity do its thing.

There's nowhere else you need to be.

Nothing else you need to do.

Just you,

Your breath,

And this moment.

So let's take a little journey.

Let your imagination wander for a sec.

Imagine that you're standing at the edge of an ancient forest.

We're talking tall,

Wild trees,

Massive trunks.

The kind that have been around way longer than any of us.

Their roots twist and curl around mossy stones and earth that's soft and rich with life.

The air is cool here and damp in the best way.

Earthy,

Fresh,

And gentle.

The trees are just a little bit wild.

Sunlight filters through the canopy in golden beams,

Dancing with little floating flecks of light.

You take a step in,

And it's like the whole world quiets down.

Feel your feet land on the forest floor.

Feel the energy kind of give beneath you,

Moss and pine needles and soft earth.

Each step you take is slow,

Intentional.

There's no rushing here.

And as you walk,

You feel it,

The sense of being held.

Held by the forest.

Held by the land.

Held by something way older and wiser than anything you've got buzzing around in your mind right now.

You come to this big,

Massive tree.

It's wide enough for you to barely be able to wrap your arms around the trunk.

You take a seat down at the base of the tree.

And you lean back against the bark.

You can feel the unique texture of the bark.

You can feel how steady and grounded this tree is.

Go ahead and close your eyes if they're not already closed,

And let your breath move through you,

Soft and natural.

Feel yourself inhaling.

And exhaling.

Right now,

There's nothing to fix.

There's nothing to change.

Just be here with this old soul of a tree.

On this ancient patch of earth.

Let's take a moment to imagine from the base of your spine,

Your legs,

Your feet roots begin to grow.

You feel these actual roots sinking down into the soil.

Twisting gently.

Finding the spaces between the stones.

Weaving into the forest floor.

And through these roots,

You can feel any energy that doesn't serve you sinking away.

Any thoughts or parts of your day that don't nourish you are sinking away and sinking into the earth.

These roots are part of you.

They're steady.

They're strong.

They're slow and persistent.

With each breath,

You feel yourself grounding more deeply.

Not just into the earth,

But also into yourself.

You are not separate from this place.

You are part of it.

You are like the wind.

You are like the trees.

You are one with your breath.

Let yourself drop into a feeling of being deeply relaxed and comfortable.

Just sitting in this forest.

Rooted and breathing.

Nothing else is needed.

And hey,

Thoughts might still come up.

That's cool.

Just let them drift through like the mist through the trees.

No need to follow them.

No need to push them away.

Just gently return to your breath.

Feel the weight of your body.

Feel the steadiness of the ground beneath you.

You are exactly where you need to be.

Let's take a few more breaths here.

Deep and slow,

Like the rhythm of a forest.

And maybe whisper something kind to yourself.

Something like,

I am rooted or rooted.

I am enough.

Just like this.

Whatever feels meaningful and real to you.

When you're ready,

Bring a little movement back to your fingers and toes.

Maybe roll your shoulders and stretch your neck.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

But don't rush.

Keep a little bit of that forest with you.

That grounded,

Timeless,

Earthy energy.

Remember,

You can return here anytime.

With your breath.

With your body.

With your roots.

You're good.

You're grounded.

And you're never alone out here.

Thanks for being here with me.

Go gently.
