Hi there.
Welcome.
I'm Lauren Baer.
I'm really glad you're here.
Take a sec to get comfy on a cushion,
In a chair,
Lying down,
Whatever works.
Let your body start to arrive.
Take a slow breath in.
And then just let it go.
Like a wave pulling back from the shore.
Let your shoulders drop.
Unclench your jaw.
Unravel just a little.
Now imagine yourself standing at the edge of the ocean.
Big blue sky above.
Endless ocean stretching out in front of you.
The air smells like salt and sunshine.
And the breeze is just perfect.
Warm.
Feels a little wild.
Brushing against your skin like a familiar friend.
You can hear the waves rolling in and pulling back.
Over and over again.
A rhythm older than memory.
As you stand on the sand,
It's soft and cool beneath your bare feet.
With each step,
Something in you settles.
Like your whole body is remembering how to exhale.
You walk slowly along the shoreline.
No rush.
Just you and the tide.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
With each breath,
You let something go.
A little tension in your body.
A thought that's been looping for too long.
Some expectation that you're tired of carrying.
Let the ocean take it away.
It knows what to do.
Now find a spot to pause.
Maybe a big driftwood log.
Or just sit right on the sand.
Close your eyes if they're not already closed.
Feel the wind.
And feel the sounds.
Feel the space around you.
Let your breath move like the waves in.
No effort.
Just flow.
So whatever's here for you today,
If it's tightness or restlessness,
Maybe a wandering mind,
It's okay.
You're not trying to fix it.
Just sit beside whatever you're feeling like a friend.
Now imagine stepping into the crystal clear ocean.
Feel its perfect temperature.
Imagine that feeling of buoyancy.
The effortlessness of floating and bobbing with the movement of the water.
Feel the way that your body is connected to the entire ocean when you step in.
And as you feel yourself connected into the ocean itself,
Your energy drops down into the water,
Anchoring you into a deeper sense of calm.
You're grounded,
But with a soothing flow.
You feel that energetic connection to something much bigger than yourself.
You feel soothed and safe.
You're part of the rhythm,
Just like the tide.
Take a moment and let the gentle movement settle in you.
Let quiet settle in.
Even with all the movement around you,
There's peace in the center.
And you can come back to that.
Always.
Maybe whisper something to yourself like,
I feel that state of flow or I am held by something vast,
And I don't need to carry it all.
Let whatever phrase feels good stick with you.
Now slowly start to return.
Feel your body on land again.
Wiggle your fingers and notice the space around you.
You don't have to leave the ocean behind.
You can carry its rhythm with you,
Its ease.
You did good being here.
Thank you for showing up.
See you next time.
Go gently.
