Welcome to this meditation on imagination.
Using imagination is becoming the director of your mental movie.
Using the mind to skillfully imagine the life we want to create.
Imagination helps us to rise above,
Move through adversity,
Transform stressful situations into positive outcomes.
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable place either sitting or lying and just relax.
Relax your body,
Letting any tension or tightness melt out of the neck and shoulders and upper back.
Take a nice long slow deep breath.
Exhaling tension and tightness,
Feeling it melt.
And transforming that into light and energy.
Feel this nice flow of energy releasing from the neck and shoulders and flowing down the arms to your hands.
And let tension,
Tightness melt out of your upper back and flow down both sides of your spine,
Through the legs and all the way to your feet.
Take a deep breath,
Relaxing the cranial base and the muscles around your jaw.
Relax into the face and the muscles around the eyes.
And another slow deep breath,
Relaxing your mind and allowing the spaciousness of the mind to be like the open sky.
And take any circumstance in your life that's particularly challenging.
And I want you to use your imagination to visualize alternative outcomes.
Put your mind's energy on outcomes that are beneficial to you.
Transform stress,
Adversity into positive outcomes in your mind first and let that energy coalesce into reality.
Imagine the circumstance unfolding in exactly the right way to serve your highest good.
Become the director of this mental movie.
See the outcome that you want.
As you drop into the movie,
Notice the sights,
The sounds and the sensations.
What are people saying?
What are the sounds around you?
How does it feel to move through that adverse situation into this positive outcome?
What are the emotions and the feelings circulating within you?
See it,
Feel it,
Hear it.
And as you direct this mental movie,
Continue to breathe slow and deep through the nose.
Letting your body relax as it takes shape in thought and form.
Imagination is the tool of the mind to transform your reality into outcomes that you want that are in alignment with your heart's desire and your soul's purpose.
Take a few more long,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
Knowing that inherent in the visualization is the potential for it to become actualized.
Breathe into that.
And come back into the room,
Feeling your body on the chair,
The floor,
The bed.
Sense the breath coming in and out through the nose.
As you return to the present moment,
You let go.
You become non-attached,
Simply allowing the universe to handle the details in that unfolding energy from mind to reality.
And as you slowly open your eyes,
Feel a sense of powerful energy flowing through you.
Take that feeling with you into the rest of your day.
