Welcome to this audio meditation,
Being present in this moment.
We tend to live a lot in the past or the future.
Either we contemplate on what happened in the past,
Or we worry about what might or might not happen in the future.
And by doing so,
We are disconnected from what is happening right in front of us.
This meditation is designed to help you reconnect to the present and to yourself.
Make sure you have what you need to feel comfortable during this meditation.
Grab a pillow,
Chair,
Blanket,
Or anything else that helps you feel supported.
So,
Let's take a moment to settle in.
Give yourself full permission to lie down,
Stand,
Sit,
Or move during this meditation.
What would your body need?
What position would your body enjoy to be in for a while?
Take the time to tune in with your body.
Let's start by taking a few deep breaths,
In through your nose,
And out through your mouth.
As you breathe,
Feel your presence here,
In this particular moment in time.
You have arrived.
You are here.
This is your home now.
Enjoy a couple of moments realizing that you can make your home wherever you are in the world.
All you have to do is declare it into existence.
I am here.
This is my home.
I belong here.
The magical life force of the universe brought you all the way here,
To this specific moment in time,
In this specific place in the universe.
You were supposed to be here.
Allow yourself to arrive.
For now,
We can leave the past in the past,
And the future in the future.
All that matters is here and now,
This particular moment in time.
Stay open to your environment while you become aware of your presence in your body in the here and now.
Feel the position you are in,
Sitting,
Standing,
Lying,
Or even moving gently.
Feel the pull of gravity pulling your body towards the earth.
Can something in you let go a little bit more?
Allow yourself another deep exhale while surrendering to the earth's gravity.
You can let go now.
Know that wherever you are in the world,
And whatever position you find yourself in,
You are supported by the earth,
Carried by her powerful body.
In this moment,
The world supports you,
Carries you.
Feel the movement of your breath,
Inhaling and exhaling.
With each exhale,
You let go a little bit more,
And feel yourself sinking further and becoming one with the earth below you.
Embrace the earth's atmosphere.
Welcome this form of support,
Nourishment,
Your connection to the world.
In this moment,
The world nourishes you,
Feeds you,
Energizes you.
Feel the energy exchange between you and mother earth,
With every breath,
With every heartbeat,
With every fiber in your body.
It is happening now,
In this moment.
Continue to feel your presence here through the breath,
The flow of your life.
There is infinite space to breathe,
Infinite space to be.
Take a few deep breaths with that feeling.
If you feel like it,
And it feels right,
You can bring your hands to your heart.
Feel everything that pulsates in your heart and body.
All the sensations,
The heart beating,
The blood flowing,
The breath expanding.
Feel this experience of being alive.
Feel your sense of presence,
And imagine it continuing in the flow of your day.
Feel this nourishment,
This power,
This creative freedom.
Remember your connection to self.
Remember the earth's support.
Remember the expanse of space around you.
Remember the way you want to show up for yourself and for others.
When you're ready,
Slowly transition out of meditation into a more habitual,
A more active state of consciousness.
Take a few more calm breaths,
And let your body move a little.
Maybe open and close your eyes a few times.
Wiggle your fingers and toes a little.
You may feel the need to move,
Stretch,
Yawn,
Or smile.
Do whatever feels good.
With your inner voice,
You can say to yourself,
I am here now,
Fully aware of this present moment.
I have arrived.
As soon as you're ready,
Gently come out of this meditation while you remember your presence within.
