Lesson 1

The Wonder Compass - Chapter 1

Today, we'll define the Wonder Compass practice. Some of the things this course offers include: photo assignments, wondering-out activities, photo book collections, facts to assist nature, trail signs and anchors, mindful walking, and music to get out the door. Today's session will also provide an overview of the Wonder Compass method, which includes: defining "Wondering," the requirements of the method, and tips on how to wonder anytime, anywhere.

The Wonder Compass - Chapter 2

We begin to listen to the nuts and bolts of this daily practice. We will talk about fun activities like playing with leaves in photography. We will also learn a mindful breath to use as you walk. As you go about this practice, ponder the question, "What is forest bathing, and how can it benefit me?

Lesson 3

The Wonder Compass - Chapter 3

We continue deeper into the woods. Today, we have a new trail prompt with which to stop and engage with nature. We will also check out the recommended software programs for your phone or DSLR photo production and learn how to help nature with only one square foot of dirt. Your challenge will be to answer the question of what to do with all of your images over time and how to organize and preserve your craft photography.

The Wonder Compass - Chapter 4

Today, we explore the Celtic Birth Tree. Which tree or plant is associated with your day of birth? in this session, we discuss information about the Celtic Species that specifically marks your birth. We will also walk through the grove for the practice part.
