In this course, we will explore the concept of mindful leadership. Leaders must practice mindfulness and lead with intention more than ever. By doing so, they can positively impact individuals and organizations. Mindful leadership is a style of leadership that emphasizes self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to be present in the moment. It involves being conscious of one's thoughts, feelings, and actions and approaching leadership with purpose, empathy, and authenticity. Mindful leaders can navigate challenges and make decisions with clarity and compassion, ultimately creating a positive and inclusive work environment. In the course, we will look not only at the concept of mindful leadership but how to find your purpose as a leader.


Meet your Teacher

Samantha is a dedicated teacher with a doctorate in business with a leadership specialization. She has taught in this area in MBA programs but has also been an MBA program chair and led large teams. She also has experience developing and facilitating mindfulness and meditation practices. She believes in mindfulness and inner peace and incorporates these practices into her daily life and teachings. She is committed to helping others find balance and clarity through meditation and constantly seeks new ways to deepen her practice and share it with those around her to improve their lives. She hosts regular meditation sessions. She is welcoming to newcomers and regular participants. She loves to help learn more about practical everyday practices that can enhance their lives. She has completed her Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Ziva Meditation Trainings with the tools necessary to guide you to stress less and accomplish more.
