Imagination is essential and the practice of meditation and mindfulness can help with problem solving,
Ideas,
Creativity,
And assist dreams to come to life.

You understand that it is a free spirit.
It will go anywhere and it can do anything.
This meditation is a form of guided imagery which goes beyond visualization.
The image presented is a spool of golden thread that lies at the base of your spine and has the ability to unravel,
Support,
Cradle,
And carry the limitless power of imagination within your body,
Heart,
And mind.
There is no pressure to envision images within your mind's eye.
The goal is to remain open to inspiration,
To the imaginative and relaxing possibilities that are presented through my words.
Before we begin,
Take a few moments to shift and move your body.
Adjust yourself until you are comfortable.
Seated or lying down,
Feel the weight of your body sinking into the floor beneath you,
Into the gravitational pull of the earth.
Relax the muscles of your face,
Soften your brow,
And clench your jaw.
Release any tension through your shoulders,
Arms,
And hands.
Fettle your spine,
Soften your hips,
Legs,
And feet.
Rest your hands alongside you or place them on your body.
Begin to notice your breath,
Inhale followed by exhale,
Easeful and effortless.
In this moment,
You have no responsibilities,
Nowhere to go,
And nothing to do.
You have given yourself the gift of time and space.
Be here now,
Feel your body,
And listen.
Find stillness and remain still for deep rest and relaxation.
At the base of your spine,
Imagine a spool of golden thread.
Each time you notice your breath,
A strand of golden thread unravels.
Breathing in and breathing out,
The golden thread moves slowly around the bowl of your pelvis.
Follow the energy of the golden thread down the front,
Back,
And sides of your legs,
Wrapping around your feet.
The golden thread offers a feeling of being gently held.
It is warming and supportive.
It forms a strong network of steady energy,
Stabilizing your entire lower body.
Your breath is the source of the thread's movement.
You are in control of its speed as my words direct its flow back towards your pelvis,
Rising up the center of your spine.
The energy of the golden thread is mobile,
Soft,
And silky.
Bring awareness to your breath.
Feel into the full and expansive quality of your inhale,
Balanced out by a long,
Slow exhale.
Staying with your breath,
The golden thread moves towards your heart center and pauses around the space of your rib cage and lungs.
With each breath in and out,
The energy of the golden thread winds in and out between your ribs,
Inhaling and deflating.
The energetic glow of the golden thread is floating over you now.
It is an open,
Spacious quality of your heart's intention.
What does your heart need?
What does your mind's eye see?
What luminous shapes hover over your heart center?
Are these shapes reflective of places,
Objects,
People,
Concepts,
Or experiences?
The energy of the golden thread is palpable.
It exists inside of you and outside of you.
Take a moment to follow the flow of the golden thread toward your own source of imagined experience.
Notice where this energy takes you.
There are no limits within the past,
Present,
Or future.
What you think,
Dream,
Create,
Or perceive is yours,
And it can change at any time.
Your imagination is a shapeshifter of thoughts,
Feelings,
And senses.
The use of the golden thread is a navigational tool to help you move through possibilities that already exist and can be rearranged,
Or it can be used to communicate with the infinite intelligence that may or may not have been discovered yet within your heart and mind.
Breathe and be.
Stay open to what you imagine.
Unwinding itself,
The golden thread returns towards your heart space,
Winding along the upper chest,
Holding each shoulder,
Arm,
And hand in a warm embrace.
The golden thread begins to settle behind the base of your head,
Knitting together a soft hammock of support for your head,
Neck,
Shoulders,
Spine,
Pelvis,
And lower body.
Release into the safety net the golden thread has crafted to your body.
You are floating in the bed of golden thread energy,
Slow and steady.
Your breath carries you,
Cradling you,
Rocking you back and forth in the sea of imagined experience.
The golden thread is holding,
Caring,
And supporting you now.
All your thoughts,
Dreams,
And imagined experiences are yours,
And sealed into your heart and mind with the help of the unraveled spool of golden thread that has been woven from your imagination,
Extending out and beyond your relaxed body.
Strand by strand,
The golden thread begins to gently loosen itself from your body.
Notice your breath and its natural state.
Inhale,
Followed by exhale.
You watch the golden thread slowly rewind itself onto its spool,
Settling back to where it lies in the rooted,
Grounded space of your strong pelvis.
Know you have the ability to access this power whenever you have time and space to breathe,
To pause,
And imagine all that you are,
A peaceful,
Intuitive human being on earth.
Begin to deepen your breath.
Feel your natural breath as it flows through you,
And allow the breath to bring movement back into your body by opening and closing your fingers,
Circling out your wrists.
Stretch through your toes and feet.
Slowly flex your elbows and knees,
Move through hips and shoulders,
And reawaken your body.
Pause here and feel the benefits of this guided meditation practice in your mind and body.
There is a connection between you and others,
The earth,
The sky,
And the universe.
There is a connection between you and the possibilities yet to be imagined.
What you imagine can become your reality.
