I invite you to take a deep breath and adjust your seat.
Try to sit up tall,
Feeling the length of your spine.
And when you're comfortable,
Just begin to close your eyes.
And I wonder if you would take a moment to imagine yourself being more calm,
Peaceful,
Focused.
Just listen to your breath,
Observe the sounds around you,
And just notice.
Notice the rise and fall of your belly,
The length of your inhale and exhale.
Not trying to control anything,
Just noticing.
And as you allow your unconscious mind to naturally conjure an image of what that would feel like,
Consider what you might be seeing.
Consider what you might be hearing.
And consider what you might be feeling.
That shows you're more calm,
Peaceful,
And focused.
If not,
Notice that your unconscious mind can reveal how you might do this.
Now,
Maybe you can think of a simple way to incorporate this feeling of calm into your life in the days and weeks ahead.
And after you've done that,
Know that it really can be this easy to create a little more peace and a little more calm in your life.
So I invite you now to take a breath for a moment.
And begin to move your attention back to the room,
Listening to the sounds around you,
And begin to blink your eyes,
Slowly opening them.
And so,
How was that for you?
What did you learn?
What did you discover?
So take this as part of your calm and centeredness out into your morning.
Namaste.
