Guided Meditation for Early Spring
Welcome to our meditation practice today.
Find yourself in a comfortable seated position,
Whether it be on the floor,
A cushion,
Or
on a chair.
Close your eyes gently and bring your attention to your breath.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your belly,
And exhale out through your mouth,
Allowing any tension to release.
As we embark on this meditation journey together,
We use the theme of embracing new beginnings
with clarity and inner calm.
Today we will work towards cultivating a sense of spaciousness within ourselves,
Creating
room for new possibilities,
And the clarity to navigate them with calmness and confidence.
Let us begin by taking a deep inhalation,
Breathing in positive energy,
And as you exhale,
Visualize releasing any stagnant energy or thoughts that no longer serve you.
Inhale deeply again,
Taking in the fresh air,
And as you exhale,
Release anything that may
feel heavy or burdensome.
Now bring your attention back to your breath.
Notice the natural rhythm of your inhalations and exhalations.
Allow your breath to be a gentle anchor,
Reminding you to come back to the present moment whenever
your mind starts to wander.
Inhale deeply to the count of four,
Feeling the expansion in your chest,
And exhale slowly
to the count of six,
Releasing any tension or stress.
Continue to breathe in this way,
Allowing each breath to be a soothing balm for your
body and mind.
As you continue to breathe,
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a tranquil lake.
The water is crystal clear and calm,
Reflecting the vibrant colors of the surrounding nature.
Breathe in and experience the beauty and serenity of this place.
Now visualize taking a step forward,
Wading into the water.
With each step,
You feel a sense of cleansing and renewal,
Washing away any doubts,
Fears,
Or uncertainties.
Feel the coolness of the water as it embraces your feet and slowly rises to your knees.
With each step,
Imagine any obstacles,
Mental clutter,
Or negativity being washed away,
Leaving you feeling lighter and more open.
Take a moment to feel the water surrounding you,
Supporting your every movement.
Notice how the water supports your body effortlessly,
Just as the universe supports you in your
journey towards new beginnings.
As the water reaches waist level,
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine submerging your entire body beneath the surface of the water.
Feel a sense of purification,
As if the water is washing away any lingering resistance or
thoughts that no longer align with your true self.
Embrace this moment of transformation as you let go of anything that hindered your growth
in the past,
Feeling reborn and renewed.
Picture yourself standing on the shores of the lake,
Feeling the warmth of the sun on
your skin and a gentle breeze moving through your hair.
In this moment,
Welcome the clarity and inner calm that comes with embracing new beginnings.
Take a few moments to sit in silence,
Observing any sensations,
Thoughts,
Or emotions that arise.
Allow them to come and go,
Like leaves drifting upon the surface of the lake.
As we gently transition out of this meditation,
Bring your attention back to your breath.
Take a deep breath in,
Feeling the energy and wisdom gathered during this practice.
And as you exhale,
Offer gratitude for this moment of stillness and reflection.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Allowing the external world to become a part
of your experience once again.
Carry this sense of clarity and inner calm with you as you embrace new beginnings in your life.
