Let's take one deep breath in through the mouth or nose,
Whichever is most comfortable for you.
And then release the breath outward through the mouth or through the nose,
Again whichever is most comfortable for you.
Allow the shoulders to drape away from the ears.
Notice the breath as you breathe inward and releasing the breath outward.
If you're sitting in a chair or if you're sitting directly on the floor,
Notice the way your feet are touching and engaging with the floor.
Notice the ground rising up to support you.
Or you might notice if you're sitting on the floor directly,
You might notice the sit bones being supported by the floor.
I invite you to take a deep breath inward through the mouth or the nose,
Whichever is most comfortable for you.
And then releasing that breath outward.
This is how we can engage with calm.
This is how we can instantly relieve anxiety,
Difficult emotions through meditation.
Another practice is to put the hand right over the heart space.
Send yourself compassion.
Send yourself love,
Care,
And non-judgment.
Receive that energy through the heart space as you breathe inward through the nose or the mouth,
Whichever is most comfortable for you.
And releasing that breath outward.
May you have peace.
May you have joy.
May you have happiness.
May all beings be safe.
May all beings have peace in the world.
May all beings be with all that is right now in a skillful,
Intelligent,
Kind way.
