Grounding and guided wellness meditation. Designed to give a sense of wellness, ease, resourcing, and groundedness. Guided meditation with meditation bell ringing to signal the beginning and end of the meditation. Lovingkindness tool with guided meditation inviting the listener to experience lovingkindness for oneself and to extend lovingkindness to others. There is no music. Only the sound of the meditation teacher's voice guiding the meditation.

This is a grounding meditation.

I invite you to take a deep breath through the nose and exhaling through the mouth at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Allowing yourself to enjoy the stillness that is there.

Allowing yourself to enjoy the motion of the in and out breath.

Allowing yourself to notice the way the lungs expand and contract as they receive and release the air.

Allowing yourself to notice the stillness within the body,

The care with which you take each soft,

Gentle breath.

Allow yourself to sit in a position that is comfortable for you,

Ideally with your spine aligned and as straight as possible for you and your body type.

Allowing the shoulders to drape gently away from the ears.

Allowing the chest to naturally rise and fall without force.

Basically allowing the body to move in a way it's designed to do.

Allow yourself to reach in and take a nice deep breath inward through the nose or through the mouth if that is more comfortable for you.

Exacing the breath,

Allowing it to leave the body gently,

Escaping from the mouth,

Moving back into the air,

Into the kind space that envelops us.

I invite you to gently close the eyes or if it's more comfortable,

Soften the gaze.

Allow your body to rest in a comfortable position,

Seated in a standing posture or lying prone if that is more comfortable for you.

If seated,

You might notice the sit bones and the way the earth gently rises,

Supporting us through the sit bones in the area of the body.

If standing,

You might also notice the ground beneath the feet,

The way the ground gently supports us through the toes,

Through the heel,

Through the arch,

And ultimately through the spine.

While resting prone,

You might notice the ground rising to support us up through the space of the back of the head,

The shoulders,

The shoulder blades,

The back,

The buttocks,

And the back of the spine.

You might notice the gentle way the ground supports each part of the body.

I invite you to take a nice breath inward and then release the breath outward at a pace that is comfortable for you.

I invite you to place a hand upon the chest where the heart is and gently notice the tissue beneath the fingers.

Gently notice the slight rise and fall of the body beneath the hand.

I invite you to receive the energy of loving kindness for yourself,

For all beings around you,

For all beings in existence.

I invite you to receive the energy of loving kindness for all beings wellness,

For all beings to be supported in their wellness,

And for all beings to have wellness.

I invite you to extend that hand outward like a cup,

Like you're holding a cup,

And imagine extending loving kindness to those in close proximity or vicinity to you,

Your family,

Your fur babies,

Your friends,

Your colleagues.

I invite you to extend the cup of loving kindness to those beings who share space with you,

To those beings who share physical space with you,

As well as to those beings who share mental space with you.

I invite you to extend this cup of loving kindness to all beings throughout the world.

I invite you to place a gentle smile upon the mouth and to receive the energy that comes from allowing a gentle smile to rest upon the face.

And with this,

I invite you to extend the cup of wellness to all beings,

All beings in existence,

All beings throughout the world,

All beings in this wellness space,

All beings around you.

May we all thrive.

May we all thrive in wellness.

May we all be kind to one another now and at all times.

May we all have peace within,

Within our bodies,

Within our minds,

Within our spirits,

And may we all be well and at peace.

And so it is.
