So,
Just finding a comfortable place for yourself,
Coming down into this very moment.
And when you're ready,
Gently closing your eyes,
Feeling the structure you are sitting or lying on,
Noticing how it offers you support,
Supporting your body and in essence,
Supporting your mind.
Know that during this meditation,
There is no pressure,
There's nothing you can do wrong or right,
Just listening to the sound of my voice and following along.
Now,
Just focusing on your natural breath,
Feeling the inhale and the exhale,
Noticing the air go down the breathing canal,
Into the lungs and back out the breathing canal,
Up and out through the mouth or nose.
Noticing if you're breathing deep or shallow,
Just noticing the natural breath,
Not changing anything,
Notice.
Noticing the lungs rising and falling,
Noticing the air temperature at your nasal passageway,
Noticing the subtle changes of the breath as it passes through the breathing canal.
This breath is so revitalizing,
So cleansing.
Air is a pure element on this planet that we can use to revitalize ourselves,
To energize ourselves,
To cleanse ourselves.
Just for this moment,
I want you to breathe air right into your mind,
As you inhale,
Focusing on that fresh,
Cleansing air going up to your brain.
As you exhale,
Focusing on the stale air leaving your brain and body,
The new air comes right into your brain.
The old air leaves your brain,
Out into the surrounding environment,
Never to be seen again.
Moving on from the old,
Moving on to the new.
With each inhale and exhale,
The brain,
And hence the mind,
Becomes cleansed and revitalized.
Feel the sensory responses within your mind and brain with each breath.
Surrender to these responses,
Letting go.
Neurotransmitters are balancing within your brain.
Sometimes during busy times,
Or when the mind is overactive with worries,
They can become unbalanced.
Right now,
They are balancing.
The air is cleansing and clearing every part of your brain and mind,
Feeling the temperature of the air as it enters your brain,
Feeling the new fresh energy coming in and the old stale energy leaving.
You're moving on to fresh,
Revitalizing times.
Surrender to the breath,
Surrender to the brain,
Balancing itself out,
Surrender to the powerful,
Revitalizing air,
Cleansing,
Soothing,
Resting your very cells.
As you redirect the cleansing air,
It increases your mind's clarity,
It cleanses you out from the inside,
Like a deep cleaning procedure directly for your brain and mind.
Give in to the breath,
Give in to the flow of it as it enters the brain and rejuvenate each and every cell,
Making a rhythm,
Increasing the intensity of the breath if you wish,
Increasing the length or the depth,
Playing around with it.
This is all about flow.
It's all about surrender.
It's all about letting go,
Like a leaf in the wind,
Letting go to the air,
The cleansing substance that we all need,
Airing out the mind,
Rebalancing,
Rebalancing,
Rebalancing.
Now,
As this meditation comes to an end,
Know that the element of air is always here for you whenever you need it for to cleanse out the mind once again,
Letting go of the breath for now,
Moving the body around,
Coming back to this moment,
Stretching whatever area you wish,
When you're ready,
Gently opening your eyes with a clarity like never before.
