There are two incredibly powerful practices that we hear about all the time in the West, but we might not really know how to practice them. Or worse yet, we might discount them as fluffy concepts that don't really work. The Truth is that the embodiment of Gratitude & Self Love is some of the bravest & toughest work in this human life. To practice Gratitude & Loving yourself, as you are, over and over, until the cells of your body are rewired enough to actually receive & feel it, is a tremendous and worthy undertaking. Premasudha describes how weedy and vulnerable it felt for her to integrate these practices in her life, but notes that over time, life has reflected this Love back to her. We may look on the outside for a Prince or Princess to show us this Love, and yes, they can be a mirror, but ultimately, we have to step forward to know and move from our own Hearts.

It's like you're being asked to really love yourself,

Sweetie.

Just,

You know,

I used to stare at my hands and send love to my hands.

It was so weedy,

What I did.

Really,

You guys.

Just,

Yeah,

Incredibly weedy stuff.

You know,

Signs over the light,

The light switches.

You know,

Gratitude on my cups.

Right,

Right.

And you can just keep doing that kind of stuff endlessly.

The weedy stuff is the most powerful thing.

Yeah,

Because if you're willing to like be kind of like foolish in service of the Creator,

Then you can achieve enlightenment.

But it's all going according to plan,

And everything you go through is meant to happen,

And you can trust yourself.

Okay,

There it is.

Okay,

Prama Sutta is telling you,

You can trust yourself.

Okay?

It's like a little kid learning how to walk.

You know,

The little kid falls down,

But they don't lose trust in themselves.

They just try again.

You know,

It's sort of like we're,

Say,

In a relationship with a true love,

And we really love this person.

And you know where a woman,

She might feel like she's not good enough,

And I'm not talking about a physical person.

I'm talking about,

This is a divine example,

But I'm talking about male and female in a love affair,

Where the woman might feel like,

Well,

I'm five pounds overweight,

And I,

You know,

I don't know,

I don't come from a good background,

Or whatever women go through with a lover.

And it's like the lover comes because he loves her.

He doesn't care about five pounds,

Or her background,

Or anything.

He loves her heart.

It's like more than anything else in the world apart from the creator.

He loves her heart,

And he will come for her.

Ah,

And all the woman has to do is just be,

You know,

And you know,

Keep talking to the creator,

Keep embracing herself,

Keep valuing herself.

You know,

In this time of intense patriarchy,

Which is worse because of the technology now,

And for a woman to validate and stand there with her emotional self,

And feel worthy,

And trust it,

And come forward in this bloodless society that we're getting,

Is a miracle.

And she is just revered from heaven.

She's just like,

You know,

Celebrated.

And we women can trust this.

Trust that the creator will come when you call.

So,

Just,

You know,

Be with what is,

And know that it's the weave of love,

Weave of unconditional love.

And we have to see our darkness up close and personal before it can leave.

Remember I said to you guys that in the way of the Tao,

If you want to make something little,

You let it get really big.

It's like a balloon.

You blow a balloon to the point of,

And it finally pops.

It dissolves.

It's the same thing that happens to the darkness in us,

Because it's like our complexes,

You know?

When we see them up close and personal,

How trapped we are,

How stuck we are,

And we take a step to pray,

To do something nice for ourselves,

To offer kindness and compassion to others,

The balloon pops,

And we're back to,

I am worthy.

I am a being of unconditional love.

I am loved.

It is so difficult for a woman to be true to herself that I truly,

I feel deeply that sort of all of heaven celebrates every single effort we make.

And if somebody really does it,

They're like,

You know,

The blessings rain down on them.

And then these blessings give the woman the strength.

And this will be true for men too,

With their inner woman.

Because it takes a lot of courage for a man to,

You know,

Allow his feeling nature.
