Welcome to the Trees.

Chapter 1.

Trees are your homey companions.

We create home.

You see,

Before there were trees,

This planet didn't really feel like home.

Trees formed in co-creation with the universe.

We created the structure and framework which is the tree.

And our spiritual DNA and purpose blueprint was the element that a tree is a home,

A living home.

From the point when the first trees were formed,

Your planet became a home.

Trees birthed this idea of a safe,

Nurturing place with food,

Shelter,

Safety,

And love.

A tree is a living home,

A nurturing,

Nourishing,

And sheltering place,

A stable,

Stationary place.

Like the atom,

Home is more of an energy field than a specific,

Physical,

Factual reality.

Trees create an energy field of home.

Many creatures come to live with,

On,

In,

And under us.

Humans,

You have been enjoying this aspect of home,

Enjoying trees,

And loving what trees do for you.

There's a reason why trees are in most religious and spiritual writings and are often featured in depictions of paradise.

More than most other organisms here on earth,

We have been in partnership with you ever since you first began.

We've been here for you on multiple levels,

The physical,

Emotional,

Metaphorical,

And the spiritual levels.

We provide a consistent home so that wherever you go,

We are nearby creating shade and shelter.

When I was a young sapling,

I was flexible,

Pliable.

You've probably seen trees that were shaped by humans or nature into distinct forms beyond a natural tree growth shape.

That is only attainable for me as a tree if you catch me when I'm young.

After the teenage and early youth days,

There's no plying me to take on another form.

I grow with my true nature and tree-type inclination for the rest of my life.

There's no changing my inherent nature.

You humans are similar in that your early days are very impressionable.

So many things can happen to a young child that might change the way she grows.

But here's where humans have the gift that trees don't have.

You can still change and move in the world in a different way even as an adult.

You are not locked and bound into being the person your life altered you to become.

Truly,

You have infinite flexibility if you take the time to really see it.

But what if you are in your late youth,

Middle age,

Or old age and you feel like your inherent nature was corrupted and tainted by the ways of the world?

What if all the trauma and trials have left you feeling crooked and irreparably stunted?

Use your feet,

Human.

Use your feet.

Take a walk and imagine that each day that you walk,

You strip away more pain,

Another wound,

Another tear.

On your walk,

Let your eyes fall on every tree you pass.

If you are walking where there are no trees,

Find a new walk,

My dear.

Let your eyes linger on every tree and admire each one.

See if you can name a quality you admire in each tree that you notice.

Allow yourself to believe that the quality that you admire in each tree is one that you deeply admire within yourself.

You contain within you the element that you admire in the tree or the possibility to cultivate that element in yourself and in your life.

If that wasn't true,

You would not be able to recognize it.

You see your desired elements manifested within the tree and embrace them emotionally.

Your admirable quality might not be as developed as you think it is in the tree,

But believe that it is there within you,

Waiting to be seen,

Waiting to be admired,

Waiting to grow.

Do you see a beautiful tree with grace?

You have beauty and grace within you.

If you believe that old age has no beauty or grace,

Keep walking until you find a tree that reminds you that all things are possible in the world of the infinite.

Do you see a tree with strength?

You are strong.

See a tree with charm that houses birds,

Squirrels,

And bugs?

You comfort,

House,

And care for beings in your own heart and hearth too.

Take this walk and appreciate us,

The tree beings.

Take this walk and remember that you have legs.

You can walk or roll if you use a wheelchair.

You can move.

You can leave.

You can come and you can stay.

You have choices and options.

Your inherent and true nature travels with you everywhere.

Like a snail in her home,

Your soul and your truth travels with you however far you go.

You have infinite options to move through and heal from that which does not feel to be your true nature.

You have time to grow into the beautiful being you wish to be.

Take pride and gratitude that you were given feet to explore,

To choose,

And even to flee.

Your body is a gift.

Treat this gift with gratitude.
