As you observe the beauty of these giants, you will go and find your cozy cabin deep in the woods surrounded by the mountains. In this practice you will relax by the crackling sounds of fire, feeling each part of your body melt, whilst relaxing. The fire will help you to drift off to sleep. So sit back or lay back and let the snowy journey take you into your deepest sleep.

This is Rasa.

Welcome to your guided meditation where you will go on a sublime escape into the mountains.

All you need to do is follow my voice and absorb all the sensations from this beautiful mountain scene.

Close your eyes now and inhale deeply through your nose and then exhale through your mouth.

Let all external distractions to fade away.

Breathe in again counting as you do so.

3,

4.

Hold the breath for 1,

2 and then exhale counting 1,

2,

3,

4.

Feel your lungs emptying and relax into the moment.

Couple more times for yourself inhaling,

Holding and letting it go.

Now let your breathing become rhythmic and natural.

In out.

It is time for your snowy mountain vacation.

Visualize yourself standing at the gateway to your mountain cabin.

You are high up in the mountains and the snow is falling thickly.

Dressed warmly,

It is only your face that feels wintry mountain air.

You feel light-hearted as you embrace this winter scene.

Breathe in that pure mountain air and let go of any inner lingering tension on the exhalation.

Your breath is frosted in the cold winter air.

The view of the cabin is beautiful and inviting.

Dark wood against a backdrop of mountain peaks wrapped in snow and almost lost in the grayness of low clouds.

It is as if the scene has been painted by an artist.

So adept,

A creative masterpiece.

This is the perfect winter escape.

Snow falls gently.

Soft round flakes dropping from the sky as if cotton wool.

Visualize taking off your gloves.

The winter air greets your skin as snowflakes land on the palm of your hand.

Focus on the moment and follow the movement of your breath as you see yourself stand in the mountains.

Feel the movement of your abdomen as it rises and falls.

Feel the sensation of air as it passes your nostrils.

Visualize this feeling of gentle rhythm and awareness.

Feel the breath against the upper lip on the exhalation.

Find your focus to the sensations that occur.

Let emotions come and go.

Identify feelings within your body.

Do not judge,

Just let these feelings be experienced and then let them go.

Become aware of sounds or the silence.

Become one with this scene.

Turn to the breath in and out.

You are alive,

Truly present within this moment.

This beautiful wooden cabin enveloped in winter beauty is all yours and yours alone.

Sense the deep tranquility within the walls of the cabin,

Surrounded with mounds of untouched snow outside.

Everywhere is white.

It is as if the skies have emptied across this mountain plateau.

It has been snowing for hours and a white blanket nestles against the natural wood of the cabin.

You can see lights glow from the large windows.

A trail of smoke from the chimney drifts lazily up into the sky.

The smoke disappears into the heavy,

Loaded with snow clouds.

The house is welcoming you.

The fire inside is lit.

Already you feel more relaxed and content.

It is so peaceful here.

Your walking boots sink deeply into the softness as you walk towards your cabin.

The snow undisturbed yields to your movement.

Feel the tranquility around you.

It is so quiet.

You can hear your own breath coming in and out.

The silence of the landscape is eerie and yet peaceful.

It feels as if life here is on hold.

The winter has claimed this place and everything stops in this space here.

Your boots sink deeply into the snow as you walk.

Feel your muscles tensing and then relaxing as you walk through these deep snow drifts.

See yourself reach the door of the wooden cabin.

The warm air greets you like an old friend as you shut the door behind you.

Visualize,

Look around.

This is the perfect place for resting and revitalizing both your mind and body.

A large,

Very comfy sofa with the softest blanket faced the fireplace.

With extended sides,

This cozy sofa offers perfect views over the front and back of the cabin.

See yourself taking a seat and relaxing on it for a while.

Let your body sink into the surface.

Allow for all the muscles to drop and relax a little more.

The warmth from the fireplace is so wonderful.

It wraps itself around you.

Windlocks crackle happily in the fire,

Gradually being devoured.

Flakes of red,

Gold and orange spiral up the chimney as you watch.

As the fire burns,

The warmth expands outwards and you feel your body beginning to warm gradually as the heat spreads through your body.

Fingers and toes let go of the chill and blood circulates to each part of your body.

Any muscular tension dissipates as the warmth explores every muscle.

Feel your feet warming up,

Relaxing.

The heat traveling up your legs,

Relaxation spreading into your legs and your thighs.

The heat from the fire keeps traveling up your body into your torso and your chest.

Inhaling and exhaling naturally.

Feeling soothed,

Warm and relaxed now.

Your neck,

Your arms and fingers begin to feel the heat rushing in,

Relieving any tension and relaxing you so deeply now.

Let go of any holding in the neck,

Your temples or the head.

Let the heat from the fire to warm you,

To help you feel as if you're liquid-like,

As if you have melted.

Your eyes feel light,

Your whole face begins to warm and the skin on your face feels very even like a soft blanket on your facial muscles.

So relaxed,

So calm,

So peaceful.

Feeling naturally and softly.

In your mind visualize and focus on the flickering flames.

Narrow your focus to one flame following its movement.

Notice the changing direction,

The fluid motion,

The colors from gold to orange and back.

Let go of external distractions.

Keep your eyes on the flame.

See the brightness of the flame.

Close your gaze for a moment.

There is just you and the flame,

Interconnected in perfect harmony.

Feel the stillness within.

Relaxing now.

Notice the shadows around the room,

Conjured up by the flames.

It's so comforting in this fading light.

You are on vacation.

This is your home from home.

You are in the perfect place to restore inner harmony.

Here there is just calm,

Warmth and pure indulgence.

The warm air seeps through your clothes.

Sinking deeper into the sofa now.

The warm soft blanket feels so cozy against your skin.

You feel so relaxed here.

You are at peace in this mountain hideaway.

Repeat in your mind or out loud.

I am relaxed here.

I am revitalizing my mind and body.

Your back is fully supported.

Your legs are outstretched.

Ankles relaxed,

Feet completely limp.

Your hands and fingers resting.

Your breath is natural and soft,

Moving through the abdomen and up into the chest as your lungs expand.

Feel the sensation of pure relaxation within you right now.

Tune into the sensation of your back supported as you visualize your muscles letting go.

You are becoming heavier.

You are deeply relaxed.

Feel your arms heavy against the sofa.

Your fingers soft.

Sinking rhythmically in and out,

In and out.

Focus on your abdomen.

Let it soften under your gaze.

Move your attention to your chest and shoulders.

You are becoming more and more relaxed.

Your neck and the back of your head heavy against the surface.

Nothing else matters than this moment.

Relaxed so relaxed.

Visualize your forehead smooth and your eyelids resting lightly.

Your mouth is open just a little.

Relaxing your jaw.

You are in the midst of nature.

Visualize your haven.

So safe and so relaxed.

Everything here is in perfect alignment and you feel more balanced.

There is no tension.

Very deep relaxation.

This mountain home is perfect in every way.

Feeling so deeply peaceful.

The sound of the fire crackling in the background is very soothing.

The air is warm.

The atmosphere serene.

As you simply relax here,

You are restoring your body cell by cell.

You are coming to your full alignment.

You feel so relaxed.

And now tiredness and contentment washes over you.

You are in harmony with yourself and with your surroundings.

Your breath riding smoothly in and out.

Everything beginning to fade.

So relaxed.

So at peace.

Now there is only space between your thoughts.

Nothing else matters here apart from you relaxing and every part of your body resting and revitalizing while you deeply relax.

Your body becomes heavier and sinks deeper onto the surface.

Fluid.

Weightless.

Totally relaxed.

This beautiful rugged landscape is your vacation sanctuary.

Here there is pure tranquility.

Every sense is revitalized.

Every time you return to this mountain place,

Your mind,

Body and spirit become that much more balanced and aligned.

You are at peace.

You are calm.

You are at one with this mountain setting.

Relax.

Let it all go.

Holy cow did I love this! A cabin in the mountains during a snow storm is about as serene as it gets for me. I was able to imagine a lot of it and what I could not picture I could feel. I almost wanted to stay awake longer to listen to more, but I was out in 10-15 minutes. Thank you!
