As you arrive at the retreat land nestled in the forested hills near Mount Shasta, something begins to shift. The air is crisp and alive, the trees stand ancient and still, and the sound of Parks Creek calls you inward. This is a place of power, long honored by Indigenous peoples as a site of healing and transformation. The waters here emerge from deep within the Earth, twin springs, one clear and one red with iron. This rare and sacred pairing, also found in Glastonbury, England, exists in only a few places on Earth. These mineral-rich waters offer a profound connection to the Earth’s ancient wisdom. Accommodations are simple and comfortable, each with its own kitchen and bathroom. Whether in a private room or shared space, you’ll have what you need to rest, nourish, and reconnect. You might find yourself sitting beside the creek in quiet reflection, gazing at the stars, or walking the land as something ancient stirs within you. This is a place that holds you as you return to yourself through the raw beauty of nature, the potency of the waters, and the quiet wisdom that rises when you slow down.

Our meals are an integral part of the retreat experience—nourishing, beautiful, and infused with care. Food here is more than sustenance. It is a return to rhythm, to pleasure, and to the wisdom of seasonal ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Our private chef crafts each meal with creativity, depth, and heart. The menu is primarily vegetarian, using fresh and vibrant ingredients, with occasional options for added chicken, fish, or eggs to support different dietary needs. You will enjoy three delicious meals a day, blending global inspiration with grounding nourishment. Think green Thai curry, roasted vegetable lasagna, chickpea spinach curry, and overnight oats with fresh fruit. Each dish is both satisfying and soulfully prepared. Meals can be enjoyed in community around the table or taken to a quiet spot beside the creek—whatever your spirit needs. This is food that truly supports the retreat: grounding, healing, and deeply nourishing. Please let us know about any food allergies in advance so we can ensure your safety and comfort.

After this retreat I have such aliveness in my body. I feel so much more freedom of speech, mind, body, joints and expression. I feel spacious, like a weight has lifted, nourished. I feel a deep belonging to the group and the earth. I love the laughter and play in Julia's retreats as well as the yoga and the yoga nidra. Take the risk and come and you will appreciate all that it does for you and what you find there for yourself.
