Details

Soul Awakening Retreat is a 5-day women’s experience designed to bring you back to your body, your intuition, and the quiet wisdom beneath the noise. Set in a serene nature sanctuary in the South Island of New Zealand, this retreat blends yoga, breathwork, meditation, women’s circles, and seasonal rituals to support deep rest and emotional renewal. You’ll be held in a peaceful, earthy environment where you can slow down, soften your nervous system, reconnect with your feminine energy, and realign with who you truly are. Through nourishing practices, grounded coaching, and intentional time in nature, you’ll leave feeling centred, empowered, and deeply awakened to yourself.

Location

Lowburn, New Zealand

Nestled on the picturesque shores of Lake Dunstan in Central Otago, Lowburn is a tranquil settlement that perfectly captures the region's transition from a rugged gold-mining past to a world-class viticultural future. Located just north of Cromwell beneath the towering Pisa Range, the area is characterized by its dramatic glacial terraces and the unique "Sugarloaf" hill, offering a striking backdrop of schist rock and golden tussock. While much of the original 19th-century township—including its historic ferry crossing—was submerged during the filling of the lake in the early 1990s, the modern community has reinvented itself as a premier sub-region for Pinot Noir and stone fruit production. Visitors today are drawn to its calm lakeside inlets for boating and swimming, as well as the 45th Parallel track, which provides panoramic views across the basin's arid, sun-drenched landscape.

Imrama is your peaceful, grounding retreat home - a place where your soul’s journey can gently unfold. The name comes from a Celtic term meaning “The Journey of the Soul,” and also carries the essence of Ra (light, sun) and Ma (heart, within), honouring the light within. Set across 21 hectares of rolling hills, a serene creek, and lush gardens, Imrama is a sanctuary held by nature itself. Surrounded by mountains and open skies, it offers the perfect environment to soften, reconnect, and return to yourself. Warm, earthy, and deeply nurturing, Imrama Retreat provides space to rest, journal, move, share nourishing meals, and gather in circle under the stars - a true homecoming for the woman ready to remember who she is.

Testimonials

info

This retreat exceeded my expectations. I went in with an open mind, and didn’t know exactly what to expect, except what was on the schedule. I would highly recommend to others! I liked the diversity throughout the day and really loved the cacao circles, despite not thinking much of them prior. All the practices were well organised & lead with love. I appreciate your ability to be flexible and meet everyone where they’re at. I’m leaving with some wonderful tools, feeling connected & nourished after spending time with beautiful women.

I felt like we were in our own world - such peaceful surroundings. It was such a beautiful & serene place to practice. It helped me feel more in flow & I thought the pace of it all was just perfect. Plenty of space & time allowed for us to be able to really connect with ourselves & others. I felt really well nourished throughout the retreat. Loved all the different flavours, colours & textures. It was well thought out! The retreat exceeded my expectations for sure. I think what I really appreciated was the layout of the whole weekend & all the planning that went into it. It felt like it flowed really nicely & didn’t feel rushed at all. I learnt new breathwork practices which will be great to add to my kit. I’ve felt as though I’ve connected with myself & my desires on a deeper level. I’ve connected with some amazing women & hope that it’s the start of some beautiful new connections. Thank you xx
