Good morning,
Dear one.
Let's ease into this day together.
My name is Chris and I will be guiding you through this morning meditation for grounded energy.
Let's begin by taking a few moments to get settled in a comfortable position.
Whether still lying in bed or sitting upright,
Feel free to shift your body as needed.
Then come to a moment of stillness.
And gently close your eyes.
For this practice,
You can place the palms of your hands down for a more grounding experience.
Now,
Let's begin by taking three cleansing breaths together.
At your own pace,
Breathe in through the nose.
And exhale as long as possible out through the mouth.
In through the nose.
And sigh it out through the mouth.
Last time,
In through the nose.
And out through the mouth.
Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm as we begin bringing our awareness to our body.
Notice how intertwined we are with the world around us.
Feel the weight of your body being supported by the bed,
Chair,
Or ground beneath you.
Gently listen to the sounds surrounding you.
Allowing them to come and then go.
And then gently bringing your focus back to the sound and movement of your breath.
Inhale any sense that may come to you.
Remain curious but not fixated on any particular smell.
Notice any taste lingering in the mouth right now.
No need to try to determine its origins,
Just observe it.
Just let the world around you exist as you embrace this moment of stillness.
See if you can find the calm in just being here and breathing with the earth.
Breathing in,
Noticing sensations of the air passing in through your nose.
And breathing out,
Becoming aware of how your body feels with each release.
Now let's take a moment to set the tone for our day ahead.
One of grounding,
Ease,
And calm.
Remind yourself that even if the day shifts or takes on new forms,
You will remain still and rooted in your being today.
Taking pauses as needed and breathing deeply to ground your nervous system.
Feel the relief of letting go with ease today.
Releasing anything that's not serving you.
Give yourself permission to take charge of this new day and how you experience it.
Remember there is strength in remaining centered and anchored in your being.
Especially when everything else around you feels fast paced,
Chaotic,
Or unbalanced.
So may you hold tall and firm at your base like a tree rooted in Mother Earth.
But allow the branches and the leaves to flow and sway as the wind blows.
Understand that today you may drift and sway,
But you'll never be uprooted.
Because you are grounded energy.
Connected to all things Mother Earth.
And just like nature,
You flow with ease.
Continue breathing deeply dear one.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Today is a new day.
A new blank canvas to create on.
A new day to try,
To exist,
And to breathe.
Breathe in hope,
Love,
And kindness.
Not only for yourself,
But for your loved ones and all of humanity.
This is a new day to begin again.
With an open heart and new energy.
Grounded energy.
Because you understand that you are rooted,
But you flow with ease.
Let's take a few more nourishing breaths together.
Counting down from 10 as we seal this grounded energy into our day.
Imagine using your breath to re-energize your body and prepare for the day ahead.
Starting at the top of your head.
And slowly making your way down to your feet.
Intentionally breathing in through the nose.
And releasing out through the mouth.
Slowly bringing movement back into the body.
Wiggling fingers and toes.
Waking muscles in our face.
Moving eyebrows,
Nose,
And mouth.
Shrugging shoulders and gently shifting your hips.
And maybe embracing yourself in a loving hug.
Giving yourself a quick boost of oxytocin and dopamine to start your day.
Now sigh it all out.
Emptying any last pockets of sleepiness that may remain in your body from last night's sleep.
And then simply just be here for a moment with these sensations.
Then when you feel ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
Have a great morning dear one.
Remember,
Today is a new canvas,
A new experience,
And a new energy.
You are rooted and anchored at your base.
And you'll move through the ebb and flow of today with ease.
