I Am Earth

I am the earth.

I am the highest mountain and the deepest ocean.

I am the dense forests and the flowing rivers.

I sustain and support the whole world and all creatures.

I am stable and grounded like a tree,

Pressing my roots deep into the earth and reaching my branches up towards the sky.

I stand tall and strong,

Connected to myself and all creatures around me.

I close my eyes and listen to the sounds around me.

What can I hear?

I take a big breath in through my nose.

What can I smell?

I tune into my body.

What sensations can I feel right now?

I am a heavy fallen log lying still on the forest floor.

I relax my whole body and feel my weight pressing down on the solid ground below.

I can feel how strong Mother Earth embraces me and keeps me safe.
