Today's meditation takes you into a staircase into a tunnel of all the moments that you wish you could've done differently. A tunnel of all your past decisions. A tunnel of all the people who you did not get closure or apologies from. A tunnel where you found an image of yourself doing the best you could at the time you were given. Now is the time to set yourself free. Now is the time to shut the door of guilt and resentment.

Welcome to today's Evolve Beyond Limits meditation.

Give yourself a moment to find a comfortable place to sit or lie down with your back straight and as you settle in allow your eyes to close and we're going to start today with a body scan.

Putting all of your attention at the top of your head you're going to slowly scan down each part of your body paying extra close attention to any areas that pop up for you that have some discomfort,

Any areas of pressure or any parts of your body that simply feel out of alignment.

As you start to scan into your neck and down into your shoulders scanning around to your shoulder blades feel your shoulders soften as you scan down your arms and into your hands and scanning through each finger.

Continue to scan your upper back and your chest scanning through your abdomen and lower back taking as much time as you need in each area.

There is no rush just taking a moment to notice if anything is coming up for you.

Perhaps a sense of warmth or a sense of coolness.

You may even notice a color or a pattern.

There is no right or wrong.

Just simply take the time to notice what's happening within your body without judgment.

Sink into the lower part of your abdomen scanning through your hips.

Scan down each leg into each foot,

Ankle and each toe.

Once you have finished scanning your body take three deep breaths in through your nose as deeply as you can into your abdomen and out through your mouth.

Relax deeper with each inhale and exhale.

Give yourself the time to leave your worries behind and settle into this moment.

As you sit there I want you to imagine yourself standing in front of a door.

The door opens in front of you and there's a staircase leading to a tunnel on the other side.

You take one step at a time as you make your way to the bottom of the stairs.

Once you reach the bottom it is dark.

There is a torch on the wall next to you so you remove it to give yourself light as you walk down the tunnel.

As you walk down the tunnel you shine the light on the walls and you are shocked by what you see.

You see all of the moments that you have been holding on to.

The moments you have replayed time and time again wishing you could go back in time and do them differently.

You see your past choices that you have carried with you over the days,

The months and the years questioning whether they were right or wrong.

As you continue to walk down the tunnel you see the outline of the people who never said sorry or never answered for the hurt they may have caused you.

You come to another door that leads out of the tunnel but just before you walk out you see one last image.

This one is of you.

You see an image of yourself doing the best she could at the time.

You see her carrying the weight of all the moments and decisions that cannot be changed.

You decide in this moment that it is time to set her free.

You give her permission to no longer carry around the feelings of shame,

Guilt,

Resentment or anger that she may feel.

You release her of the chains of not being able to forgive herself and others.

As you leave the tunnel you step through the door and you look back one last time.

With complete love and compassion you gently shut the door behind you.

You turn to walk out and you see a bright yellow light ahead.

You walk towards the light up the stairs and out into the most beautiful pasture you have ever seen.

The yellow light is now swirling all around you.

You look around and as you stand there you feel a sense of bliss and joy as the light surrounds you.

In this moment and for every moment moving forward you feel the freedom and lightness that comes from forgiveness.

You look down and you dig your bare feet into the ground feeling the earth beneath you.

At this point you start to come back into your body wiggling your fingers and your toes taking a moment to stretch your neck.

You take three more of those deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth and whenever you feel ready you can open your eyes.
