Hi there and welcome to this guided experience that is intended to help you release any stress or anxiety or tension and connect with the heart of the Earth.

Begin by paying some really gentle attention to your breath.
Bear as you breathe in,
That this is you breathing in.
And aware as you breathe out that this is you breathing out in this moment.
Now I invite you to slow the breathing down as if the breath is a gentle wave on a calm ocean flowing,
Dancing with the deep currents of the water.
As you continue to breathe slowly and easily,
I'll invite you to allow your body to become heavier on the surface of the Earth.
Almost as if you're surrendering to gravity and recognizing that the more of your body you surrender to the Earth,
The more she can rise up to embrace you,
Allowing you to release any tension you may be holding.
Acknowledging that the more you allow yourself to become heavy on the Earth,
The more she is able to rise up and embrace you.
On the surface of the Earth.
Almost as if you're surrendering to gravity and recognizing that the more of your body you surrender to the Earth,
The more she can rise up.
And as you continue to allow gravity to work,
I'll invite you to imagine really gentle energetic roots growing from the back of your body down,
Down,
Down through the Earth's crust,
Through the soil,
All the way down through layers of history and memory until those roots connect you with the gently beating heart of Mother Earth.
And down through those roots,
You can allow any tension any constriction just to gently fall down through the body,
Through the roots,
Surrendering all of that to the gently beating heart of the Earth.
And the more of that tension or heaviness you allow to fall from your body,
Then with each breath and each heartbeat,
The heart of the Earth can send up peaceful,
Relaxing,
Gentle energy up through those roots,
Circulating through the body with each breath and each heartbeat.
And as you continue to allow the gentle heart of the Earth to send energy into your body,
You can imagine that that energy spreads out all around you until you're floating on a sea of beautiful,
Calm energy,
Your body being held by the ocean that is the heart of Mother Earth.
And as you float on this ocean,
You can allow your breathing to become even slower as you remember what it is to be held and cradled by the heart of the Earth.
As you remember what it is to be held.
