This meditation is called Surrendered Acceptance.

So let's begin.

Begin by focusing on your breath,

Bringing attention to your diaphragm,

And observe the in-breath and the out-breath at this place,

Your diaphragm.

Begin by breathing in,

Counting 10.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

Nine,

10.

And the out-breath to the count of 10.

Breathing out,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

Nine,

10.

Breathing in.

And breathing out.

And just notice as thoughts arise,

Simply let them go,

Surrender them,

And return to focusing on your breath and counting to 10.

On the inhale.

Inhale.

And 10 on the exhale.

Breathing in.

And exhaling.

Observing your thoughts and just watching them float through.

And now imagine that you're laying in a beautiful field,

Looking up at the beautiful blue sky.

And just watch the sky as you lay there,

Continuing to breathe,

Continuing to exhale.

And as you watch the sky,

Become aware of the sky.

And how the weather always changes.

And watch as the clouds come in and form.

And as you're noticing these clouds moving through the sky,

Perhaps you notice a few raindrops gently washing your face as the weather is getting colder.

And as you're noticing these clouds moving through the sky,

You notice a few raindrops gently washing your face as the weather in the sky moves through.

Continuing to breathe,

Continuing to accept what is as it is.

And as you lay there looking up at the sky,

Notice the sun breaking through the clouds,

The clouds becoming vibrantly colored with hues of orange or red or golden light.

Breathing in and exhaling as you notice the sky changing,

Surrendering even more,

Accepting what is as it is.

And now notice that the sky is beginning to get dark,

Very dark,

As it is now night time.

And notice the stars beginning to appear.

As you breathe in and exhale,

Surrendering and accepting what is as it is.

And begin to stare at those stars as they appear,

Allowing whatever feelings they evoke,

With the breath surrendering and accepting.

And now notice way off in one direction,

You begin to see the beginnings of dawn with colors as gray as they move into pink and orange,

And eventually blue,

A blue sky that will again change.

Breathing in and exhaling,

Surrendering and accepting what is as it is.

And as you lay there,

Allow the sky to change as it will,

In any way it will.

You don't have to make the sky do anything.

Just let the sky have whatever weather shows up,

Watching the sky and its weather with complete acceptance.

Surrendered.

Breathing in and exhaling.

The sky is life,

Bringing whatever weather it brings.

Accepting what is as it is with the breath.

The sky is the afterlife,

And it will not hurt you.

It will bring whatever weather it brings.

And you,

In a surrendered acceptance,

Are watching it unfold,

Letting it bring whatever it brings,

Surrendered and accepting to what is as it is.

And now with the next breath,

Breathing yourself,

Fully present,

Into the room,

The chair where you are,

Fully awake,

Fully aware,

Feeling at peace with the acceptance and the surrender of your heart.

And so it is.

Namaste.
