Okay,
So just find yourself in a nice comfortable seated position,
Ideally being able to ground into the place where you are,
Either in a chair or on the floor.
Just allowing yourself to rest and relax here in this space.
You're welcome to close your eyes or find a nice soft focus.
And you're welcome to put your hands in your lap or perhaps rest them on your knees or your legs,
Either palms facing up or down,
Whatever feels best for you.
And then we'll just allow ourselves to take a moment here to connect with where we are at this place at this time,
Just letting everything go.
Letting go of anything that may have happened prior to coming into this space,
Letting go of anything that may be coming up ahead.
Just allowing yourself to be here,
To be present at this moment in time.
Once we've started to settle in,
Let's check in with our bodies and just notice how we're feeling at this moment.
So perhaps noticing the weight of the body seated in the chair or if you're seated on the floor,
Just noticing the presence of the earth supporting and grounding beneath you.
And then from that connected present energy,
Let's start to reconnect and align our spines within our body.
So traveling with our mind's eye from the lower part of the spine and the sit bones.
So starting at the tailbone,
We'll just start to travel up through the back of the spine,
Going vertebrae by vertebrae,
Just seeing if you can notice and shift,
Maybe realign a little bit so you feel a little more balanced and a little more evenly weighted.
Scanning up through the lower back,
Continuing up through the back of the abdomen,
Into the chest,
The mid-back,
And then scanning up through the upper back and the shoulders,
Perhaps rolling the shoulders back and down.
Just finding what feels right for you at this moment.
Starting to travel up through the shoulders,
Up through the neck,
Into the lower part of the skull,
And then the back of the head and the top and the crown of the head as well.
Just check in and notice and see if you maybe want to shift a little bit so that your head,
Neck,
Shoulders,
Chest,
And hips are all in alignment.
So perhaps play around with either shifting forward a little bit or shifting back in your seat,
Whatever feels right.
