Welcome.
I'm Teresa.
Thank you for choosing to spend this time with me.
Let's take a moment to come into our bodies together.
Taking a slow,
Gentle breath in.
And slowly breathing out.
Again,
Breathing in.
And allowing your body to soften a little more with each exhale.
Noticing where your body is supported by the surface beneath you.
Noticing where you may be holding a little tension.
And allowing that to be there.
Without judgement.
If it feels okay for you today,
You are welcome to soften your gaze or close your eyes.
Today I'd like to invite you into a different way of seeing.
Many of us spend our entire lives looking for evidence that we matter.
We long to feel loved.
Chosen.
Remembered.
Important.
And there is nothing wrong with that longing.
It is deeply human.
But sometimes without realizing it.
We begin measuring love using only one metric.
Perhaps we believe love means remembering every detail.
Or being in constant contact.
Or grand gestures like in the movies.
Or someone anticipating our every need.
And when love arrives in another form.
We miss it.
Not because it isn't there.
But because we aren't looking in that direction.
Take another slow breath in.
And out.
Imagine yourself standing in a wide,
Open landscape.
In front of you,
There are many different paths.
Each one of these paths represents a different way love might appear.
One path is gentle presence.
Someone who sits beside you in silence.
Who offers you comfort in subtle ways.
One is reliability.
Someone who keeps showing up,
No matter what.
Whose word you can rely on.
Another is encouragement.
Someone who believes in you when you've forgotten how.
Another is CARE.
The meal someone made for you.
The hand that reaches toward yours.
A blanket placed over your shoulders.
The person who noticed you retired.
Another path is trust.
Someone asking for your advice.
Someone sharing their heart with you.
Someone feeling safe enough to be themselves in your presence.
Walk slowly among these paths.
Notice which ones you naturally recognize.
And gently ask yourself,
Which ones have I been overlooking?
Not because they aren't valuable.
But because you may expect love to look different.
Let's pause here.
Breathe.
There may still be places in your life where your needs are not being met.
And this concept isn't asking you to pretend otherwise.
It isn't asking you to ignore hurt.
Or disappointment or longing.
Instead,
It's offering something beautifully simple.
A wider lens.
Perhaps alongside the love you still desire.
There is love already finding you.
In unexpected places.
Quiet places.
Ordinary places.
Maybe someone smiles every time they see you.
Maybe someone always saves you a seat.
Maybe someone notices when you're quieter than usual.
Maybe someone sends you a message just because you crossed their mind.
Maybe someone trusts you.
Maybe someone laughs more freely when you are nearby.
Maybe someone feels safer because you're in the room.
Take a nice slow breath.
Allow your heart to become curious.
Not forcing gratitude.
And not convincing yourself everything is perfect.
Simply asking.
Where am I already,
Love?
And stay with that question for a few moments.
No pressure to answer immediately.
Just let it settle gently inside you.
As we prepare to finish,
Place one hand over your heart if that feels comfortable.
Feel the warmth beneath your hand.
And I invite you to remember,
Love is not always loud.
And is not always dramatic.
Sometimes it arrives quietly.
In presence.
In kindness.
Inconsistency.
And laughter.
In gentle care.
In being remembered.
And sometimes simply in someone choosing to stay.
As you move through the days ahead,
I hope you'll continue asking yourself this gentle question.
Not only what love is missing.
But also,
Where is love already finding me?
And may you discover more than you expect.
May your heart soften toward what has always been there.
And may you continue becoming someone who recognizes love in all of its beautiful languages.
Take one final slow breath.
Bringing your awareness back to the room around you.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Thank you for being here with me today.
And as you return to your day,
Remember as always,
You are loved.
You are whole.
You are enough.
