Hello.

I'd like to welcome you here to this beautiful bedtime meditation with gratitude and positive affirmations.

And I invite you,

If you haven't already done so,

To do your bedtime routine.

Maybe brush your teeth,

Wash your face.

And if you've already done that,

I invite you to begin finding a comfortable position in your bed.

If you haven't,

You can pause this here and go do that.

And if you have,

Gently settle in.

Begin by finding a comfortable position in your bed.

Let your body begin to settle.

Feel the surface beneath you,

Supporting you,

Supporting your weight.

And I invite you to allow your eyes to gently close.

Take a deep breath in.

And slowly exhale.

Again,

I invite you to inhale deeply.

And on the exhale,

Maybe even sigh out,

Letting go of the day.

One more breath like that.

Deep breath in.

Gentle sigh out.

And with each breath,

Allow your body to relax.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw unclench.

You can feel your face start to soften.

And your thoughts begin to slow,

Fading almost like the blue skies when we see clouds.

The thoughts can be like the clouds just dissipating against the backdrop of the blue sky,

Seeing them fade like that.

And now gently bring your attention to your body.

And we'll start at your feet.

Notice any sensations there.

As we just gently let our breath ebb and flow.

Notice those sensations soften.

We slowly move your awareness upward to your legs.

Notice any sensations there.

Let them soften.

To your hips.

Notice any sensations there.

Just accept them.

Just noticing.

To your stomach.

Notice any sensations there.

Just witnessing.

Let them soften.

Up to your chest.

Notice.

Witness.

Allow them to soften.

Notice any sensation.

Witness them.

Allow them to soften.

Down to your fingers.

Notice any sensation.

Up to your neck.

Notice any sensations there.

Just witness.

Accept.

And allow that to soften.

Up to your face.

You can feel your face,

All the sensations.

Witness.

Allow it to soften.

Let your entire body sink into relaxation.

You are so safe.

You are here in this peaceful,

Gentle moment.

Now take a moment.

Allow just one thing that you feel grateful for.

Or that you can be grateful for.

Maybe a smile of someone that you passed by.

That caused you to smile.

A gentle hello.

A kind word.

Maybe it was a moment between all the busyness that you had some moment to yourself.

To be quiet.

To sit in stillness.

Even now as you think,

Maybe just the fact that you made it through the day.

Maybe the day was hectic or not.

Maybe sitting right here now.

Being with yourself.

Giving yourself this moment.

Having gratitude for that.

Let that feeling of gratitude,

Maybe it's a loved one seeing your loved ones when you got home.

You.

Let that gratitude fill your heart.

Feel it coming in gently and warming your chest.

Spreading that love and gratitude all throughout your chest.

Spreading peace all throughout your entire body.

Now think of another thing,

Big or small.

Could be that first sip of coffee or your favorite drink in the morning.

And say to yourself,

I'm so thankful for this day.

I'm so grateful for all that I experienced.

Sometimes it's not always good.

And you might view some things as,

Oh,

That wasn't so good.

But the big or the small or what we label as good or bad,

They're all facets of us being alive.

I'm so grateful that I'm alive.

I'm so grateful for all that I experienced.

I release what I cannot control.

And allow this gratitude to soften your heart.

To continue to feel this peace and this warmth fill your heart.

And the peace to permeate throughout your body.

And to quiet your mind.

Again,

Letting the thoughts go if they're going.

Just like the clouds dissipate in the blue sky.

And to prepare for your deep,

Restful sleep.

And as you rest here,

Gently repeat these affirmations in your mind.

Let them become your inner voice for the night.

As we breathe,

Gentle ebb and flow of breath.

I am at peace with myself.

I have done enough for today.

I am at peace with myself.

I have done enough for today.

I allow myself to rest now.

I am safe.

I allow myself to rest now.

And with each breath,

I grow.

I trust in the process of this life.

I trust in the unfolding.

I trust in the process of this life.

I trust the unfolding.

I welcome deep and healing sleep.

I welcome deep and healing sleep.

Feel the truth of these words as they settle in.

No need to force anything.

Just let them be gentle reminders.

Whispers of love.

Whispers of kindness.

As you drift off to sleep.

I am at peace with myself.

I have done enough for today.

I am at peace with myself.

I have done enough for today.

I allow myself to rest.

I am safe.

I am so held.

With each breath,

I grow calmer and more relaxed.

I can feel this happiness.

I trust in the process of life.

I trust in the unfolding.

I welcome deep healing sleep.

There is nothing else you need to do.

Nowhere else you need to be.

Just let the quiet take over.

Let your breath be soft and natural.

Let sleep come to you effortlessly.

You are exactly where you need to be.

Your body is resting.

Your heart is full.

There is nothing else you need to do.

Nowhere else you need to be.

Let the quiet take over.

Let your breath be soft and natural.

Let sleep come to you effortlessly.

You are exactly where you need to be.

Your body is resting.

Your heart is full.

Your mind is calm.

Sleep well.

You are so loved.
