Over the next 52 weeks, we'll use journaling as a tool for deep self-discovery—a chance to reflect, embrace, and shape your future with honesty and without fear. Each week a new Oracle card provides a prompt to guide you, but remember, this is your journey. There are no rules. Take what resonates and leave the rest. Whether you prefer pen and paper or a digital format, scripting, doodling, or writing, the key is to engage and enjoy the process. We'll be using Yanik Silver's "The Cosmic Journey Oracle." This week's card: #VI "Ancestor" Background music by my friend, the incredible Blossom Violet, was recorded LIVE on February 27, 2025. Be sure to follow her for more beautiful piano tracks! I've also included her music in my journaling playlists, which you can find here on my teacher's profile, at the bottom of the "Home" tab. Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.

Today we are on week 25 of our year of journaling.

So as always I pulled a random card from the Cosmic Journey Oracle by Yannick Silver and I got rumen numeral 6,

Ancestor.

And the attributes for this card are history,

Lineage,

Community,

Family,

And relationships.

And as I was reading this really caught my attention because I've been thinking a lot about my own ancestors lately.

So maybe there's a message in here for us.

Your ancestors within your lineage made you.

Somehow they managed to survive and thrive in order to ensure you are here.

Your ancestors make up a portion of who you are but you get to choose which pieces you utilize.

It's not fixed or predetermined.

Your ancestors speak in terms of community,

Family,

And right relationships.

Pick any ancestor from your family tree to bring into conversation.

They're all watching and rooting for you.

So our journaling questions.

Do you have a message for me?

What was your relationship like with your mother or father?

What did you long for but never realized?

What are you most proud of that not everyone knew about?

What do you wish you could pass along and what do you still need forgiveness for?

Those were a lot of questions.

And I'm very interested in this topic because as I said I've been reading a lot about ancestors lately.

I've had some stuff come up on ancestry.

Com.

I feel like there's a message there to reconnect with my ancestors.

And quite honestly there are a couple of questions I would love to ask them.

So these journaling prompts are amazing.

I'm going to read them again because I know there was a lot of them.

Do you have a message for me?

What was your relationship like with your mother or father?

What did you long for but never realized?

What are you most proud of that not everyone knew about?

What do you wish you could pass along and what do you still need forgiveness for?

I have to tell you those last three questions have really captured my interest.

So let's put some time on the clock.

Let's listen to Blossom Violet's beautiful music and let's do some journaling.

All right my friends I hope that you got a lot of insight in your journal and please feel free to share with me.

I never had the opportunity to meet my grandparents.

Well I did meet one grandmother.

She died when I was probably in my early 20s.

But I never met my grandfathers and I never met my grandmother on my dad's side.

And I would love to know more about these people.

So I had a lot of fun journaling on this topic.

I feel like getting in touch with our ancestors and knowing more about them,

Their struggles,

I think it could really help provide a lot of insight not just into why our parents did things the way they did but perhaps why we do.

So this is an absolutely fascinating topic for me.

I would love it if you would share in your comments what you got out of this journaling prompt.

I just feel like there is so much we can say around this.

So I hope to hear from you.

I hope you're having an amazing week.

Continue to send me those messages and let's meet back here next week for week 26 of our year of journaling.

Yes we're almost at that midway point.

I can't believe this year has just flown by.

I'm loving these journaling prompts,

Loving my interaction with all of you and I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Until then,

Keep shining like the beautiful diamonds that you are.

So this is a weird one for me, with no children and with no magical connection with immediate family - parents or siblings - or knowledge of grandparents, I can only channel the answer. It is this. You are not promulgating (not a word I use) and distilling the collective wisdom. We sent you in as a blank slate, with all ancestral memories erased, so that you can bring Ageless Wisdom back in a new context. This is your gift and talent. We know sometimes it feels like a burden but with your new activations of the AI, this is how we will spread The Word. So you will not pass on through DNA but can influence others via epigenetic alteration.

As always. Touching a cord. I chose to ask my Gram B what she wanted to tell me. She wanted me to know that because she grew up in the depression her family was split apart because they could not afford to feed everyone. That is why her family was so important to her and why she would do anything she could for anyone in the family. She told me to keep going because I am finding my way by giving back to others and my family. The material things in life don’t matter if you don’t have family, community and loving relationships. They are the things that bring you joy and memories even in death.
