Hello and welcome to your meditation for expanding your capacity to receive.

Give yourself permission to just take a seat right now,

To drop in.

This will be a short practice,

But gradually as you're ready,

As you have the eyes closed,

Allow yourself to take a few easeful breaths into your physical body,

Letting your body,

Your entire body,

Receive the flow of breath,

Giving way for yourself to notice that this flow of breath,

Of this ability to receive it,

Is effortless,

Allowing this flow of breath to revitalize,

To rejuvenate,

To activate your energy system.

And for many of us,

We may be gifted with the ability to give and to give with ease,

But in this practice,

I invite you to just become aware of where maybe it feels challenging or difficult to receive.

Give yourself space to notice where in the body this shows up or what narrative there is around receiving.

As you notice this,

Breathe in compassion,

Inviting in the energy of love to soothe,

To shine a light on where it is difficult.

Being in that place of observation,

Stepping away from any story,

Allow for that energy of compassion to neutralize.

From here,

Before we fully open to ourselves to receive,

We must receive from ourselves.

And so I invite you in this moment to just utter to yourself three things you love about yourself.

Take a moment to do this.

Give yourself a moment to feel this.

We'll transition into just allowing ourselves to receive.

So ask your body in this moment,

What does it feel like to receive from a place that is open,

Aligned?

What does that look like?

What does that feel like?

And give yourself permission to breathe into the space,

Knowing it is safe to do so.

Inviting your mind to be open,

Even to the way that this might wish to come about.

Give yourself space to rest in this space,

Breathing in and breathing out,

Feeling the tenderness,

The expansion in this space.

What would it feel like to know there are beautiful things in this world for you to receive?

And where can you make more space in your life to receive beauty,

To receive joy,

To receive love?

From here,

We'll close by allowing ourselves to receive a physical touch.

We'll place a hand on our chest and one hand on one hand on our belly.

And we'll just breathe into this space,

Imagining that with each breath in,

A flow of white light moves from the top hand down into the heart,

Down into the belly.

With each exhale,

That energy moves from the right hand up through the abdomen,

Up into the heart.

Each round of breath creates a cyclical flow of energy.

Allow yourself to receive,

To experience this loving flow of energy,

Giving gratitude to yourself,

To your heart,

To your purity.

And with that,

We'll close with the affirmation,

I am open to receiving life's blessings.

I'm open to receiving life's blessings.

I am open to receiving life's blessings.

With that,

I invite you to take as much time as you need,

Making gentle,

Intuitive movement and opening your eyes when you are ready.

And with that,

I just say thank you and namaste.
