Hello and welcome to your chakra meditation.
Take a moment to get seated to get comfortable.
As you may or may not know,
Chakras are energy centers.
Within our physical body,
We have seven major ones.
Today we'll be working with those,
Bringing each one into balance.
It's when our energy centers are in balance we experience peace,
Calm,
Love,
Even joy.
So take a moment to just become aware of your body in this moment,
Breathing easily in and out.
You might notice any tension or charge within your body.
This is okay,
But allow yourself to to now just take a few breaths,
This time with the breath as you breathe in,
Filling yourself up with new energy,
New revitalizing energy.
And on the exhale release anything that has maybe been a stressor or anything that has been on your heart or your mind,
Inviting your body into ease as we begin this chakra balancing meditation.
So we will start with the root chakra.
The root chakra is located at the base of the spine.
So I invite you to bring your awareness down to this energy center and begin to breathe down into the base of the spine with the gentle intention of opening,
Of activating your root chakra.
The color associated with the root chakra is red.
So as you breathe into your root,
Imagine you are sitting in a wide open blooming red rose.
With each breath in you breathe in this frequency,
This color of red,
Further activating that root chakra which relates to safety,
Stability,
Money,
And belonging.
Bring our awareness into the second or sacral chakra,
Three fingers below the belly button.
In this space allow yourself to breathe in,
Letting the belly expand as far as it can,
And each exhale letting it completely soften.
Gentle gaze here.
And then as a sacred honoring for that sacral chakra,
Imagine that an array of orange poppies are placed around your stomach,
Around your waist,
Around your low back and sacrum to allow yourself to continue breathing into the second chakra,
Inviting in that vibration,
That color of orange,
Deep orange.
This second,
The sacral chakra has everything to do with our creativity,
Our capacity for childlike wonder,
Our relationship to freedom,
Our sensuality,
And our ability to flow with our emotions and digest life.
Feel the sacral chakra coming into balance as you breathe in that orange color.
Moving up into the solar plexus,
The point where the top of the belly,
The top of the navel meets the chest,
And begin to breathe into this space,
Expanding it as far as it can go,
Fully relaxing it on the exhale.
Imagine in your sacral chakra is a bright golden sun,
Rejuvenating the center,
Maybe even warming up the center.
The solar plexus chakra relates to our will,
Our confidence,
Our self-esteem.
So as you breathe into this golden sun,
Feel it become bigger,
Feel your solar plexus coming into balance,
Allowing for any feelings of powerlessness,
Not enoughness to burn away.
From here,
We will move up into the heart.
So begin breathing breath into the heart,
Breathing breath out of the heart,
Breathing breath out of the heart,
Letting yourself connect with your heart.
The color associated with the heart chakra is green or pink.
So as you tune into your heart chakra,
Allow yourself to imagine a beautiful,
Lustrous,
Emerald gem at the center of your heart.
And as you envision this lustrous,
Emerald gem,
Give yourself permission to breathe into it as you receive its soothing properties,
As you invite your heart into balance.
Our hearts hold the seeds for compassion,
For generosity,
For hope,
For love.
So as you breathe into your heart chakra,
Allow yourself to sow any and all of these qualities as you bring your heart back into balance.
Next,
Moving up into the throat chakra,
Letting the energy of the throat open up.
And in this space,
I invite you to imagine a glass of water,
Clear glass of water.
And into that glass of water drops this beautiful dark blue dye,
Maybe a drop,
Maybe a couple of drops.
But see it fill up that water and notice that blue color and feel that filling up your throat,
Bringing your throat into balance.
The throat chakra has to do with clear communication,
Both inward and external,
Has to do with self-expression and the ability to think clearly and receive clear information.
So as you breathe in that blue color,
As you marinate in that blue color,
Feel your throat coming into balance.
From here,
Moving up into the third eye chakra.
This is the chakra just behind the point between the eyebrows,
At the center of the head,
Center of the brain,
Associated with the pineal gland.
So bring your focus to the center of your brain.
Take a few breaths in here.
And so in the center of your brain,
I invite you to imagine a beautiful bulb of lavender.
And as you breathe in to this lavender,
Allow your third eye to receive that color purple,
Allowing your third eye to come into balance.
The third eye is associated with intuition,
Imagination,
Vision,
And dreams.
So as you connect with that third eye,
Allow yourself to open up to what is possible for your life,
Allowing that third eye to come into balance.
From here,
Moving up to the crown chakra,
Allow yourself to take a few easy breaths into the crown chakra.
Allow yourself to take a few easy breaths into the crown.
And imagine that from Saurus,
From high in the cosmos,
Extends for you this beautiful stream of white light,
Which swirls,
Which spirals down into the space where you are and into the crown of your head,
Filling you up with universal energy,
Source energy,
Filling you up with the vibration of peace,
Of ease,
Of connection to your soul self.
Give yourself permission to breathe in this white light into all the cells within your body,
Letting your body feel,
Recognize,
And know this peace,
Letting yourself breathe into it.
The crown chakra relates to our feeling of oneness,
Of connection,
Both in our lives and to the greater universe and spirit.
So feel yourself in this moment connected to all your chakras,
Your root,
Your sacral,
Your solar plexus,
Heart,
Throat,
Third eye,
And crown,
Flowing energy,
Easily breathing in and out,
Being aware,
And allow yourself to just stay in this state as long as you'd like.
But when you are ready,
You can allow yourself to close the crown of your head to draw your energy in,
And set an intention to simply be connected with your energy,
The relationship with your energy.
With that,
I say thank you for meditating with me,
And namaste.
