Start by closing your eyes,
Softening the edges of your eyes,
Relaxing your shoulders down,
Softening the jaw muscles,
Breathing in and out through the nose,
Then moving your awareness into your heart.
I'd like you to put a name to the things that are making you feel overwhelmed today.
With this sentence,
I am overwhelmed because what is causing me to feel overwhelmed is feeling it for just a moment.
I am overwhelmed because of.
Breathe into all the things,
People,
Situations,
Relationships,
Work,
What all is causing you to feel overwhelmed.
It's okay if you release some emotions here as you list all of the things out.
It's a lot.
If you're feeling comfortable,
Just take a quick moment to feel into this sense of being overwhelmed.
Sometimes we have to feel it to heal it.
It's okay.
You are safe here.
As you start to feel into these sensations,
You might start to recognize all the emotions attached to feeling overwhelmed.
Again,
It's a lot and it's okay right here,
Right now to just feel into it.
You're safe.
Breathe and feel.
Now I'd like you to visualize a box sitting in front of you.
This box is made just for you.
It's made from the exact material you like.
The outside of the box has symbols and pictures on it exactly in your preferences.
You start to notice this box has a hinge on it and you notice it can open.
You place the box in front of you and gently open it.
Inside is a luxurious and safe place.
This box was made for you and made for you to put in all of your worldly concerns.
Any aggravations and anxieties,
Everything can go into this box.
You admire this box because it can handle everything you give it.
You decide to take off all of the things in your life that cause you to feel overwhelmed and place them into the box.
One by one,
You pull off the energy from your physical body and it absorbs quickly into the box.
Then you notice this box has an energy magnet in it and it starts to quickly attract all of your overwhelm without you even having to try.
You no longer have to put in effort as this box magically starts to absorb all of your overwhelm.
You see the strands of energy going from your body into the box.
Then the process starts to speed up and it creates a vacuum of energy that quickly and cleanly pulls anything not serving you right in and away.
The process is done now.
The box has absorbed every speck of overwhelm from you.
There's a switch on the front of the box.
The switch directs flow in or flow out.
It's set to flow in right now,
Which makes sense as it has just absorbed your overwhelm.
You decide to flip the switch now to flow out.
There's now a radiant golden energy emitting from the box.
This golden energy is warm and sparkling.
It's full of healing and calmness.
This magical box has transformed your overwhelm into a sweet nectar of tenderness,
Compassion and love.
You choose now to accept this nectar into your body to replace the overwhelm.
You take a big deep inhale of this golden nectar and fills your lungs with warmth and healing.
The nectar starts to seep into your entire body.
Inhale the sweet nectar again,
Holding it in,
Recognizing it is seeping into your being.
And stay here for a few minutes as you move through the transformation process,
Inhaling all of this warm,
Cleansing energy and exhaling anything that's no longer serving you.
And now,
Slowly bring your attention back to the sound of my voice.
Bringing your attention back to your breath.
And again,
Noticing the rise and fall of your chest.
Take a moment now to recognize any learnings or insights that came from this meditation.
What are you more aware of now?
And come back now,
Taking three longer,
Slower,
Deeper breaths.
And send your attention now to your fingers.
Bringing some movement into your hands,
Your wrists,
Coming up to your shoulders,
Maybe moving into some shoulder rolls from one side to the next.
Keeping the jaw slightly open.
Coming back now to center and slowly opening the eyes.
