Welcome to a moment of stillness with fifth energy.

This is a Yoga Nidra practice designed to support physical rest and mental clarity.

Lie down in a comfortable position on your back,

Arms relaxed by your sides,

With your palms facing upward,

Allowing your body to soften into the surface beneath you with each breath.

Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness inward.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Allow your body to begin to settle with each deep breath.

Notice the points where your body meets the surface.

Feel the rhythm of your breath like waves gently arriving and receding on the shore.

Bring your awareness to your body's connection to the surface beneath you.

Feel the gentle pressure and allow yourself to sink just a little deeper.

Begin to scan your body.

Bring your awareness to the crown of your head.

Now to your forehead.

Soften your eyes,

Your jaw,

And let go of any tension.

Move your awareness down to your neck,

Your shoulders.

Feel the melt with warmth as if the sun is gently resting there.

Continue to feel the warmth flow through your chest and your abdomen,

Through your hips and your thighs,

Passing through your knees and calves and from the heels of your feet feel the warmth filling up and pouring out through your toes.

Now imagine a cool stream of water gently flowing across your forehead.

It is clear,

Fresh,

Calming.

It glides over your temples,

Down the sides of your face.

This water is peaceful and healing and with each breath feel it washing away stress,

Tension and any discomfort that may be present.

Feel it cleansing your thoughts,

Cooling and clearing your mind.

Now bring your awareness to your heart space.

Imagine the warmth of the sun resting here,

Soft and comforting,

A golden glow that spreads gently through your chest,

Like ripples across still water.

Let this gentle warmth move through your arms to your fingertips.

Feel the warmth balanced by the coolness of your breath.

Now imagine a feather placed in the palm of your hand,

It is soft,

Delicate,

Weightless.

You feel it,

Barely there,

Reminding you of how light you can feel when you let go.

Another feather gently rests on your chest,

Rising and falling with your breath,

Floating with ease,

You are that feather,

Safe,

Supported and at ease.

Now feel a gentle breeze moving across your skin,

Balancing the warmth within.

You are suspended between warm and cold,

Between stillness and movement,

Perfectly balanced.

Allow this feeling of lightness,

Warmth and flow to fill your body.

Your body is relaxed,

Your mind is calm,

You are present and whole.

Stay here for a few moments in this space of complete rest.

As you drift into relaxation,

Rest in the calm of water,

The warmth of sunlight and the lightness of a feather.

When you are ready,

Begin to bring your awareness back to your body,

To the room around you.

Wiggle your fingers and toes gently,

Take a deep breath in and exhale fully.

Slowly,

Open your eyes and return to your day,

Carrying with you the calm of water,

The warmth of sunlight and the lightness of a feather.

With peace,

Light and love from the heart.
