Welcome to Color Your Energy's Release Work Meditation.

This meditation will focus on releasing what no longer serves you at this time.

You can do this meditation at any time of the day or night.

Get in a comfortable position,

Whether you're laying down or sitting in a chair.

Begin to close your eyes.

Take a few moments to settle into your space,

Breathing in and out at your own pace.

Just as any thoughts float into your mind,

Gently allow them to float out,

Knowing that you're here and there's nowhere else to go but right here in this moment.

As you continue breathing,

Take note of where your breath is coming from.

Are you breathing more from the chest or more from the stomach area?

Just observe here without judgment.

As an option in this meditation,

You can place one hand over your heart and one hand over your stomach to connect more deeply to yourself.

You may or may not notice a difference in your breathing by doing this.

Feel the breath coming in and coming out,

And feel the support beneath you,

Whether it's the chair you're sitting in,

Your feet placed on the floor,

Or the space that you're laying down in surrounding and supporting you.

Begin to imagine yourself out in nature,

In a spot in the woods.

You're on a trail with a set of pine trees that you see in the distance.

Within these pine trees,

There's one tree in particular that you feel drawn to,

And you begin to slowly get closer to it.

As you move closer and stand next to it,

You notice how strong and tall it is and how grounded it is in the earth,

Its deep roots.

You also notice the soil beneath you.

Take a moment to notice how you feel in the space,

Envisioning yourself here.

As you continue standing next to this tree,

You begin to think of a concern,

Worry,

Or thought that you want to leave behind from the day,

Night,

Or even the day or night before.

Take a few moments to think about what this is while taking note of how you feel when it comes up.

As you think of that thought,

Worry,

Or concern,

You're going to fill in this statement silently to yourself.

I now leave behind and fill in what it is.

I now leave behind.

So practice that for a few moments,

And I'll be here in the background while you repeat this a few times.

You might take an inhale in and then exhale out as you repeat this phrase.

I now leave behind,

Filling in what that is.

Begin to look down at the earth beneath you.

You see your feet firmly planted on the ground,

The soil,

The earth,

And notice the soil at the tree you're standing next to.

You're going to repeat this phrase again.

I now leave behind,

Followed by that thought,

Worry,

Or concern,

While imagining this thought,

Worry,

Or concern dropping right into that soil beneath you near the tree.

You might picture this word by word just falling out of your mind and right into that soil.

Know that as you release this thought,

Worry,

Or concern from your mind,

The earth works magic to clear,

Transmute,

And transform this energy.

Take a few deep breaths in and out.

Notice how you feel and any emotions that might be coming up.

When you feel like you're done dropping this thought,

Worry,

Or concern into the soil,

Begin to slowly walk away from this area,

Going back to your path on the trail as you came in.

Know that you have now released what no longer serves you from the day or night,

And Mother Earth is clearing,

Transmuting,

And transforming this energy.

Continue walking,

Making your way to the entrance of the woods.

As you get ready to leave this trail,

Again,

Take a few moments here to notice how you feel and anything that's coming up for you at this time.

It's okay to feel all different things when we're doing this type of release work.

When you're ready,

Begin to introduce some gentle movement into your body,

Maybe it's wiggling your fingers and toes,

Taking note of your breath,

How you're feeling,

Slowly turning to one side.

Wherever you are,

Just begin to slowly reacquaint yourself with your surroundings in your space,

Whether you're laying down or seated in a chair.

Keep breathing at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

As you slowly reacquaint yourself with your surroundings in space,

Know that it's now time to get back to your day or evening.

You might even journal about this meditation when you're done and anything that's come up along the way.
