It only takes a minute to feel calmer and more grounded. In this breathing meditation, you’ll slow down your breath and gently guide your attention back whenever your mind wanders. Each inhale creates space, and each exhale releases tension. A simple, calming reset you can return to anytime.

Welcome to A Minute of Peace with Dr.

Janine.

Let's do a rep of mindfulness to practice pausing before reacting.

This is a breathing meditation.

We'll use our breath to help us focus when we're distracted by our thoughts.

Start by taking a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth,

In through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

And as you continue breathing,

Different thoughts will pop into your mind and that's okay.

Each time,

Just let that thought float on by.

No need to follow it.

And then bring your attention back to your breath.

Breathing in through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

And that's it.

You're done.

A minute of peace.
