Connecting to your breath and finding yourself in a comfortable seated posture,

One where your sitting bones are grounded and your spine is upright,

Perhaps pulling your chin in ever so slightly to extend the crown up to the sky.

And as you settle,

Taking a few gentle breaths,

And as you breathe in through your nose,

You may breathe through the lower lungs,

The middle lungs,

The upper lungs,

Exhaling with a sigh or with a longer exhalation.

It may also be a little bit like you're breathing one-third up,

And then the second-third,

Then the third-third,

Pausing briefly at the top and then exhaling gently.

It's using this practice to help you arrive,

Arrive in this space,

In this time,

Taking a moment and acknowledging yourself for bringing yourself to this practice,

This practice of setting your day and setting your energy.

And now begin breathing all the way from the root chakra,

The base of your sacrum,

All the way up to the crown,

On the inhalation and on the exhalation,

Feel the,

Or imagine the energy coming down the central channel,

The shushumna,

To the sacral area.

Continuing to breathe in this way,

Long,

Deep,

And smooth as you breathe out,

And gentle release through the mouth as you breathe out,

Connecting your energy field to the root of the earth,

And you connect down deep,

Deep into the earth,

To the energy of being held.

Your energy can reach up also to the sky,

On the inhalation,

Breathing in from the root or even from the core of the earth,

Up,

Up,

Up,

To the crown or even to the sky,

And then exhale.

And as you exhale,

Bringing this light healing energy down through the crown,

Through the system,

All the way to the sacral area and into the earth,

Alternating this beautiful,

Gentle inhale through the nose,

With this gentle,

Extended exhale through the mouth,

Feeling your body and your system settle,

Knowing that as you breathe in,

You're bringing chi energy,

Beautiful healing energy from the core of the earth,

Up your body and your system.

And as you exhale from the sky,

You're feeling as if it's almost like crystal rain coming through your body and system,

Clearing out whatever no longer belongs on the exhale.

Inhaling,

Gentle and smooth,

Bringing the energy up,

Exhaling,

Maybe even the exhale is longer than the inhale,

You could extend this breathing practice a little longer if you choose.

But for today,

Let's take a moment,

Connect in with your heart center,

Your heart chakra,

Anahata chakra,

Radiating out in all directions,

Repeating this mantra,

My heart is filled with radiating warmth.

See,

Sense,

Feel,

Or imagine this beautiful heart coherence that helps you rest,

That helps you accept,

That helps you love,

Imagining the beams of light going out in all directions,

Front,

Side,

Back,

Side,

To your dwelling,

To your district,

Your town or community,

Province or state,

Country,

And then wrapping around the whole world,

And that energy also envelopes you.

Knowing this short practice can align you,

Bring you into what we call the rest meridian alignment,

Core of the earth,

The sky,

And this beautiful healing energy from the heart.

I'm just deepening your breath now,

Hands to heart center,

Sending a blessing out in all directions to all beings of this world and to yourself.

As you complete this practice,

You may rub your palms together,

Massage your face,

Your ears,

Your chest,

Your back,

Your adrenals,

And allow this energy to circulate through the whole body and system.

May this energetic resonance support you in your day and in your life.
